      Ur absolutely right
      . Preaching today is so watered down, so many preachers are afraid of hurting feelings, not knowing we as a people need to hear the truth. My friends watered down preachers will send you to hell. May God bless America 🇺🇸 even though we don't deserve it. 🕊

    Amen...You "Must" be Born Again. You simply must. I remember trying to read and understand the Scripture's before l was saved. It felt foreign and forced. Then l had a Divine encounter with God. God gave me a New Heart and the Holy Spirit. Reading scripture felt familiar and l felt at home. God comes in power and authority. You will be changed. 📖🌷

    Friend. If we are in Christ, we do not wish death upon ourselves. I don't know how long you've been a christian, but as we are to continue to grow in holiness--desiring less of the world and more of Christ. Getting into the Word helps and listening to biblical sermons helps convict us, because faith comes by hearing the word of God. I suggest that you watch a few Paul Washer sermons. Start with "Greatest Words in All of Scripture." That's a great one; very convicting. And. "Examine Yourself"

    I am always touched by your teachings, you always explain Biblical truths so clearly, thank you, and only once I was surprised or shocked to hear you quoting the verse that I don’t believe in 2 Corinthians 5: 21 that says that Jesus became sin for us, to me it should say He bore our sins, which is so expressed by all the New Testament authors. We are given the robe of His Righteousness But is His we are not; the same way He took upon Himself , bore our sins but in Him not in Him. God can never be part of sin, He died because we sinned not Him. For me, that is a mistaken translated word , “ to be sin” . To be is to have committed and is done by us, we are sinners and Jesus is not a sinner, that is , for me a blasphemy. To be a Mediator for us He has to be the Holy Son before God His Father. Amen ! 📖✝️🙏

    Those who will go to heaven have repented of their sins and have been forgiven by Jesus who payed for them. Before the creation God for-knew who would accept His salvation, that is what is meant by pre- destination, not by Jim but by our choosing.

      Find a healthy Church. A Christian should not continue to sin. That husband from Paul's example he may from time to time missed up but the next time with same situation he should think first before scolding his wife knowing he is a new creature.

    How am i supposed to understand hebrews 6:1-3?

    • @illbehonest
      @illbehonest  5 днів тому

      Hebrews 6:1-3 is urging believers to move beyond the foundational teachings of the faith and press on to maturity. The writer is addressing Christians who were tempted to stay in elementary doctrines rather than growing deeper in their walk with Christ.
      The “foundation” mentioned includes repentance, faith, baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection, and judgment-core truths that are essential but not the end goal. The call is to grow beyond just knowing these basics and to mature in understanding and obedience (Hebrews 5:12-14).
      This passage doesn’t mean these foundations are unimportant, but that believers must not remain stagnant. Spiritual growth is necessary, and as verse 3 says, it happens “if God permits,” reminding us that even our growth depends on God’s grace.

      Hey 💗 you're definitely right to a certain extent.
      Though election, predestination and being 'chosen' are definitely Biblical so are the promises of Christ that ALL who come to Him, He shall never cast out. ALL who seek God will find Him. Everyone who desires to be saved, can be saved.
      Please don't lose hope in God and His compassion, goodness and willingness to save ALL that come to Him.
      I love you and hope to see you in Heaven! Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.

      We are all chosen,but He forknows who will. All have the gift of free will, so we choose to believe in the gospel or not with their results. The whole world, before its creation was predestined to be saved , Jesus died for all who choose His salvation.
