The last sermon by Paul hit me hard , I’m actually trying much harder in my relationship with god and with my wife. We have been going through hard times and drifted apart. I started praying more and going to church again. Then I watched one of Paul’s sermons and he said something which opened my eyes regarding my relationship with my wife. I’m trying much harder to build bridges with her again. 🙏🏻
Please pray for the true church in South Africa. We need more faithful gospel workers in churches. There are so many people who haven’t heard the truth at all, or are deceived by a false gospel. I work in ministry in Cape Town, please pray that young people will find hope in Christ and that His power to change lives will shine forth. 🙏🙏🙏

Believing alone won’t save you. You’ve got to put that faith to work as well . Just because you believe you’re going to be successful doesn’t mean you will if you don’t work for it. Faith without work is dead.

His start was so right on the money and his points were very well made concerning the need for maturity in the Body. Unfortunately he then resorts to his time worn method of histrionic emotion filled performance instead of deeply unfolding the Word and allowing the Holy Spirit to illuminate it to young souls, thinking that this, somehow, is going to rouse them to maturity. It cannot. I would love to hear him take the leadership of the modern Western Church and its elevation of emotion laden worship services over and above the deeper understanding of Scripture and the life of Faith on, instead of screaming at the young. Yes, the culture is lying to them but much of what the modern Western Church is doing is lying to them as well. They don’t need histrionic sermons; they need a deeper understanding of Scripture.
I understand your point and mostly agree, but I would say that we all have our limitations. Mr. Washer is limited but most preachers are, they have a few things they are good at. I think what you are expecting of him needs to be done in a long form venue or arena, maybe it's possible in a sermon but like I said he's limited, and what's most important is that he's doing the best he can and as far as I can tell he seems genuine. Its basic idea is simply “non-meritorious or unearned favor, an unearned gift, a favor or blessings bestowed as a gift, freely and never as merit for work performed.” Do you see "works" mentioned anywhere in these examples? The Bible says we do works AFTER salvation to serve the lord as a responsible service, not to be saved. The reason this distinction is important is because you cannot add a work to salvation or it isn't grace anymore which means you aren't saved. Romans 11:6 KJV
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

His start was so right on the money and his points were very well made concerning the need for maturity in the Body. Unfortunately he then resorts to his time worn method of histrionic emotion filled performance instead of deeply unfolding the Word and allowing the Holy Spirit to illuminate it to young souls, thinking that this, somehow, is going to rouse them to maturity. It cannot.
I would love to hear him take the leadership of the modern Western Church and its elevation of emotion laden worship services over and above the deeper understanding of Scripture and the life of Faith on, instead of screaming at the young. Yes, the culture is lying to them but much of what the modern Western Church is doing is lying to them as well. They don’t need histrionic sermons; they need a deeper understanding of Scripture.
I understand your point and mostly agree, but I would say that we all have our limitations. Mr. Washer is limited but most preachers are, they have a few things they are good at. I think what you are expecting of him needs to be done in a long form venue or arena, maybe it's possible in a sermon but like I said he's limited, and what's most important is that he's doing the best he can and as far as I can tell he seems genuine. Brother Paul here has been, and will continue to teach principles that are biblical and sound.
