The Flame Kings Captive from Moonlight Book Box also has a vellum overlay bound inside with more pretty art. It's easy to miss since they bound it so well. It was a nice surprise for me when I was flipping through my book.
Oooh I didn't know that. Just had a look and it's so pretty. 😍 I've never seen vellum overlays bound in before. I wish more companies would do that.

@@wce6 I have 6 subscriptions too different book box companies. Most have waitlist up have to get on before you can have an active subscription
I have BB and I'm in the US recently my books have been arriving damaged as well. It sucks because like you mention they just stick some of the books in a bubble mailer with not enough packaging to keep them from moving around. I've been pretty lucky w/the BB CSR that's handled my emails she's been nice and I have had to ship back my books and wait a little over a month for a replacement. I like their books but it's just disappointing how many problems they have.
They are sending new dust jackets for the Ruthless Boys set because the art was messed up. I don't remember which ones but there was at least 2 that characters had missing limbs.
I deeply regret not finding Moonlight book box in time to order that book. I'm on the waitlist for spares. I got an invite to their subscription but missed my window to accept so I'm back on the wait list. I'm excited for the Beasts of the Briar books I ordered from them to arrive.
If I were in the US getting the replacements would be more cost effective but the international shipping is so expensive. I’ve just seen they are changing fulfilment centers again. Hopefully they’ve chosen a better one this time. I think just 2 weeks to restart fulfilment is a bit optimistic though. 🙈
I’m also on the waitlist for moonlight sub. The quality of their books are really nice and I like that each design is unique to the books. Some companies seem to get in a rut of their books all looking very similar. I hope you love your books when they arrive. 😄
How do you order these books
Some of them are monthly subscription boxes and some are seperate special editions that can be ordered directly from the relative companies websites. Most of these are pre-orders so the sales have already been and gone unless they sell leftovers.
