Nice cut..I'd guess it's a little hard trimming a beard that thin especially the side burn area but if it don't grow there then it don't grow..

Ok on the haircut, The overall look with way you did the thin beard makes the guy look like an hourglass, big on the bottom and top and thin in the middle. I don't think it is a good look for the round face at all, too squared.
