      I'm having a hard time with 11/0 beads. I also would to know if your using size 8 beads. Mine is so flimsy it can even stay up like a tube. Think 11 is to tiny for this

    Thank you thank you thank you! It's been really hard for me to find details like this about odd count tubular. Now I figured out how I can do diamonds and crossed diagonals from your tutorial. That's why I like odd count, because of the pattern options. I've been working on this for a month and this is my big breakthrough thanks to you. Keep up the great teaching and beautiful jewelry you're making!🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰

    Thanks! I enjoyed making this bracelet along with you! I’ve been looking for a way to use up beads that are inconsistently sized, and this design is very forgiving.

    Thank you Gina . Peyote is my Achilles heal, both odd and even but this tute will be easier to follow because you used different coloured beads. What a great idea!

      You are welcome, peyote was my Achilles heal also. I just kept practicing until it became easier for me. I still don’t like it much, it’s just boring to me now...LOL, but it is pretty and I force myself to do it occasionally 💕

    Gina, I’m Rosemary, I’m a beginner. I’m doing memory wire bracelets and studying videos to learn basics. This bracelet you are showing seems to be a little advanced for me. I’m learning the names of the items to use to make jewelry. Thanks,

    Are you still answering comments on this video? 🤔 I was just wondering, how to choose whether I want to use an odd count peyote vs. an even count. I assume it would have to do with my desired pattern, but how best to make that determination? Also, can these be done with smaller beads, like 11/0? Thanks!! 🥰

    • @GGCBeginningbeaders
      @GGCBeginningbeaders  11 місяців тому +1

      Either one is fine, odd allows for more unique patterning of the beads in my opinion. Yes you can use any size bead.

    Hi! It's me again with another question 😝😁, if it's peyote, one should be able to use different sizes of beads? (My concern is the 3x2mm rondelle).. maybe its called chenille stitch then? I understand that the shape will be different, but that dosen't matter 🙂
    Thank you! 🇦🇽🇫🇮

    • @GGCBeginningbeaders
      @GGCBeginningbeaders  4 роки тому

      No, the chenille stitch is different. You can use different size beads in peyote. When you use a variation of sizes properly it is called Cellini Spiral. But with this rondel, only one, in the mix, it is still just basic tubular peyote. The crystal isn’t much bigger than the other beads.

    Is there an advantage of an odd count spiral over an even count spiral?

    • @GGCBeginningbeaders
      @GGCBeginningbeaders  4 роки тому

      I think it’s easier when doing a spiral, the step up is easier.
