    I've been beading a while but have never tried a Dutch spiral imagining it was too complicated. I watched your tutorial yesterday & I'm in love with this stitch. I've made 2 ropes so far one in lavender & blue & the other in cream & gold. Thank you so much for such a clear & easy to follow tutorial. Hugs from England x

    Hi Gina. Though I am an intermediate beader this stitch always seemed complicated to me so I hadn't tried it. I just finished my first necklace so thank you for showing me how easy it is. I just love the drape of this beaded rope!

      Donna Campian fast, how? Do you mean I am not doing enough of the project, or I am sewing to quickly? I ask because I want to ale sure these videos are very helpful, not frustrating. Input helps.

      Hi Gina, what I meant was that you at times was going just a little as far as stitching, I hope that helps you, right now I am still a little slow. Thank you once again for doing this for us beginners. Donna

    Wow - Your demonstration is so clear and easy to follow! I don’t think I’d “get it” if I were reading written instructions.
    Is this stitch meant for using different sizes or could you use all of the same size beads? Thank you again! 💜💜

    • @GGCBeginningbeaders
      @GGCBeginningbeaders  6 років тому +2

      You could use the same size beads, however, you will get a very different optical effect. The change in sizes of beads is what creates the lift and recession in the beads.

      I buy beads on line. I buy them from Amazon and many of the bead suppliers like Firemountaingems, Potomac beads and so on. Do a search for bead retailers on line, you will find many.
