  • Learn how to create this beaded necklace using Tubular Peyote Stitch. Remembering that Peyote Stitch is one of the first stitches we learn to do in bead weaving...the tutorial will take your basic peyote to another level.
It's a great beaded rope technique suitable not only for necklaces but for bangles and lariats too. It's simple to do, fun to make and beads up quickly.

Just found your channel today 07/27/21 and am loving your tutorials. I’ve cruised through several. The variety of stitches and everything are awesome. Am a crocheted, slight knitter, seamstress who is in search of something new. FOUND IT!!!!🌹😎❤️ Thank you from Ohio, USA

How do you finish the ends and attach a closure?

Hi Donna...I just attached a toggle clasp with about 5 of the seed beads in one of the colours. So, I'd be eating a bead from my last stitch - I'd pick up 3 seed beads and pass through one end of my toggle and back through the 3rd seed I just picked up (the one closest to the toggle) and then pick up another 2 seed beads and pass through your beaded rope on the opposite side to where you first exited to start attaching your clasp. I repeat those steps another time as the clasp area is put under the most strain and therefore needs re-inforcing. Hope that helps?!? x

Is this strong? Could it be used as a purse handle for a small evening purse? I want to make an all peyote stitch purse with a lining on the inside.

Oh my goodness...sounds wonderful...but I honestly don't know if it's strong enough as a handle as that's something I've never tried! As a beaded rope it is a fairly dense weave...so it might be - I just couldn't say for sure...x

    Sound is to low.

So sorry you experienced that Danele - I can't work it out - in thousands and thousands of views of my tutorials - once in a b blue moon someone says the that sound is too soft. There doesn't appear to be any pattern to it - I've asked about what devices they may be using; whether it's just one tutorial or more; but to date there is no pattern forming so I can't explain it I'm afraid...

@@JoBarclayLoggie I'm watching it again and the volume seems much better for some reason. Thank you for letting me know. Maybe it is youtube that has issues at times.
