    If wranglers weren’t averaging 80k I’m sure they’d sell a lot more

    People need to realize that when they say sales are up when the manufacture sends cars to a dealership it counts as sold those numbers are bs for investors

    When you got to pay upwards of 50 grand for a fucking Jeep sure they are going to go down. Thats a ridiculous price range for a Jeep.

    A bit short sighted. Stellantis has invested more R&D money into their boutique brands Alfa Romeo and Maserati while Fiat, CDJR, and others didn’t get enough. Everyone mentions the prices, true, but this is in addition to high loan rates, too. Tavares and his executive board deserve more blame. Quality, pricing, and recalls are huge issues as is packaging, trims, and models. You give the Bronco too much credit.

    Stellantis got greedy and milked Jeep customers dry until there was no more value for the customer. There will be no going back unless Jeep can make big changes. Introduce the sport for 25K or less as a strip down version even more than it is now and cut production on the Rubicon making, it more rare. Finally offer their new in-line turbo charged motors as replacement for their crap V6. No one will buy the most customizable vehicle for a price that doesn’t leave them room to customize it. Keep Better get its act together or it will go the way of Harley Davidson.

    I'm a 25 year, 4 Jeep guy that was treated so badly by the dealers and Jeep warranty.....I left the brand. I wanted a 4x4 Cherokee base model for less than $35k and they couldn't do it.

    Jeep used to be the cheapest four-wheel drive you can buy I brought a CJ7 a CJ5 and a Wrangler and none of them cost me over $20,000 now look at them you can't afford the price who needs air conditioner it's a freaking Jeep

    • @jerroldshelton9367
      @jerroldshelton9367 3 дні тому

      Yeah! Who the hell needs doors? It's a freaking Jeep! Or a top? It's a freaking Jeep! Or automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, infotainment, heated seats and steering wheel, a back seat, a glove box, exhaust and intake valves in the cylinder head, air bags.......
      The CJ 2A in my garage proves how much useless crap you don't need in order to get an authentic Jeep experience.
      That's not what most people want out of a Jeep, though. Most people who buy new Wranglers have no intention of ever shifting their transfer cases into low range. Catering to people who want a car that looks like a Jeep is why you can't buy a real Jeep, anymore, haven't been able to since the CJ got replaced by the "Yuppie Jeep" YJ.

    Wrangler sales have tumbled from 220K per year only a few years ago to 150K last year. And 40K of those are PHEVs. Carlos is killing Jeep.

    Nice work with your analysis! No doubt Bronco cut into Wrangler's sales. And, as you said, the present generation Defender has been on the market here (USA) for just a few years. And now, with the Toyota "Land Cruiser" name coming back, the competition will only get tougher. Mike Manly who had headed Jeep was a hell of a great asset to the Jeep brand! If I were in control, I'd bring him back. I've owned the same 2012 JK Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon since taking delivery of it in April 2012. My Rubicon is tied with my 2011 Buick Enclave (which, admittedly has twice as many miles on it) as THE most reliable car I've ever owned. But my Rubicon, with about 48,000 miles on it, cleans the Enclave's clock when we compare where on the map---and off the map---these two vehicles have been driven! As for sticker prices on most Wranglers and Gladiators I've seen on dealers lots on Oahu and Maui, most of them have many factory options and "packages" added at the factory. And one dealership, who shall go unnamed, adds an "ADM"/"ADP" sticker (by whatever name they're calling it) that adds an additional $10,000 or more to their already high price. I'll buy another Jeep. But I'll time doing so to getting the best possible price for me! Andy McKane, Maunaloa, Molokai, Hawaii.

    OK, so you found a tool that allows you to jump around in focal length and you think it's a cute effect for adding emphasis. You are a great example of "just because you can doesn't mean you should". There are a lot of these commentary channels that have finally caught on to the reality check the auto industry is getting, the consequences of their greed and stupidity. So you need to be better than the others to get likes and subscribes. On the flip side, if you do something horrible that gets you shit canned in a hurry. So you earn a Do not recommend channel.

    Just from what I've seen and heard from mechanics who work on them most Chrysler and Jeep products have lost quality since the FCA/Stellantis merger/takeover. Even if I had money a new
    Stellantis vehicle is almost at the bottom of my list.

      Same with Tundras but not true today. Look at barely used Wranglers and see how they have depreciated $15-20K in a year. New Tundras are being discounted $9K to sell also. Resale value would be horrible for those who paid sticker.

    Awesome video bro nice explanation but In my opinion everything is messed up right now, but I’m don’t think Stellantis is doing a good job they going to mess up everything cause how can a company from another country know how we run and operate here in America remember our laws and regulations is different way different plus you notice when Stellantis came in all the cars such as Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, Jeep prices is super high nobody is buying them or paying markups fee like why ? They prolly hope we forget about those brands so they can just remove them for good which is dumb. So who really knows what is going to happen with these brands but so far they ain’t good cause if they keep those high prices those cars will never move. But great video God Bless

      Thank you as always my man! Yeah it's really tough. I think FCA and now Stellantis were slow to innovate. They kept selling old cars with slightly newer skin or "special editions" but they didn't seem to have developed good affordable replacements for these cars and now they are coming out with very expensive new models but it's a different time. People don't want expensive new cars.

    • @CraytonTv

      @@SchwayZ yup sure don’t especially if it’s not something they want, like ok they made a Dodge Hornet 🐝 who’s buying that nobody, didn’t they learn from when the Dodge dart failed, the Dodge avenger failed, the Dodge journey failed, they bringing out cars like oh they want these cars but nobody buying them, and all the cars we have now yeah they was great big engines powerful cool but all the features was the same same car new year and all they did was oh we change the headlights or we change the wheels or we added some stickers but want more in price crazy! Then when you go to the dealership they be like oh you want this car you gotta pay $50K markup 1st terrible if that’s the case I rather shop on Carvana and get it used no hassle of the dealership or markups

    • @SchwayZ
      @SchwayZ  3 дні тому +1

      @CraytonTv yeah they seem to be repeating themselves again and again. And their pricing isn't competitive with other automakers that make either the same or better cars.

    • @CraytonTv
      @CraytonTv 3 дні тому

      @@SchwayZ yup exactly, if it was me instead of bringing out the same car with small different features, I would of designed a better new v8 engine, better v6 engine & hybrid type and made improvements on that then came out with a new design on car for inside and outside features that’s better. Cause technology changes all the time and if you don’t keep up and make changes you will fall behind quickly

    50k for a jeep wrangler...lol. I have a Jeep wrangler and your correct its absolute crap on road and is my second car. They are awsome off-road but why take a 50k machine full of electronics off-road? The modern jeeps suck, priced way to high, and are less off road worthy than there predecessors. So they arent as good off-road, are still terrible on-road, priced higher than some convertable sports cars..etc... just who exactly are they marketed towards? I have no idea.
    Your much better off buying an older TJ, dumping 5k into it... and it will be a much better off roading machine than any new 50k jeep. and that is exactly what I mostly see off-road.

      they’re marketed towards certain cultures that don’t know better than to buy stuff to show off instead of buying stuff for its actual value. in some places, if you have a wrangler, you’re seen as rich.
