Get a pair of biker shorts. They, have pockets on the sides. Use as underwear. Then you can keep your money and whatever under your shorts...will hold a cellphone easily...Just make sure empty going through airports haha...
Yeah it is a bit bulky, although it does pack relatively flat on the bottom of your backpack/suitcase. Probably not for light carry-on only travel though.
Another great video. As I prepare for my next trip, I am re-watching your videos. Thank you for providing so much valuable information. I have invested in an anti-theft purse from Travelon instead of carrying my usually backpack when touring. Being a solo female traveler, I want to blend in as much as possible. Hugs from Canada.
I attached a small steel cable to the straps on my fanny pack and camera bag. That way my bag can't be quickly snatched by cutting the strap. I also have lanyards on my bags that I can clip to my belt so the bag doesn't walk off while my focus is elsewhere.
Excellent suggestions. The information on RFID security was important for me since I was considering buying a protection case. Guess I don't need one. Thanks.
I wear yoga shorts under my jeans when I travel. They have slim pockets on each side that I can put my phone and a few things in with less important items in my jeans pockets. Sure, I’m jamming my hands in my jeans when I want my phone, but so would someone else if they wanted it.
I have never bought any anti-theft products and I spend no more mental effort on theft while traveling than I would walking around my home town. Just don't be an idiot and enjoy your trip.
One of your dumbest videos. Those pacsafe bags are god damn useless. You think a simple pair of wire cutters is hard to come by? Your shit will be gone if somebody wants it.
Looks like my favorite commentor is back watching yet another one of my dumb videos :) The goal here is to prevent thefts of opportunity. As I mentioned, there's no way to stop a determined thief with the right tools and enough time.

I'd attach the metal cable to the plumbing, not the bed. A determined thief could smash the bed frame to get your stuff.
Plumbing is definitely more secure if you have good access to it!
Truly love your channel! Great tips as always
Thanks for sharing
You can add a safety pin to zippers or flap pockets to make it a lot more difficult to pickpocket.
Very smart! 🤓

I love this idea!
good tips, love the cheaper alternatives :). Mesh bag with cable lock is bulky and heavy-and since I travel light I'm not sure. :)

Blending in is arguable just as important (or more) than having fancy anti-theft gear - have an awesome trip!

That sounds like a solid system!
A cheap rubber doorstop is a good thing to take along. Lightweight and small. They work great to keep a door that opens inward from being opened.
Very true!

Yeah it seems as though they aren't as necessary anymore. The risk is quite small compared to losing your data through phishing hacks.

That's awesome! I will say that certain destinations I do recommend being extra aware of your surroundings. But in the end, your stuff is just stuff!

Or you can stay home
But where's the fun in that? 😎
