I like to take the chunk pineapple put a couple big spoons in the mini ninja and then add the dollar tree coconut milk Add some ice and blend until all smooth. It is so delicious I call it my non alcohol piña colada 😃
I blew it, Jinne!! 🤦🏻♀️ I ended up spending $84 at the Dollar Tree….BUT my husband couldn’t believe how many sacks of groceries I came home with for that $84 !!! 😅 I had to smile 😊 ❤ Thanks again for your thoughtfulness and encouragement to get me motivated!!!😄 --Utah Gramy🇺🇸
I get the pineapple tidbits, and canned Mandarins. Also the A1 steak sauce bottles are a bargain. I have yet to find the Kinder Spices at the Dollar Tree. I keep looking for them everytime I go to a different Dollar Tree. Old Bay sprinkled on French fries is delicious. Also in a crab boil. I use the utensil to break up any ground meat in the pan/pot. Works great. I found the 28oz can of Italian flat green beans. Picked up a dozen cans of those for our pantry. My family loves the Italian flat green beans better then the string beans. I also picked up the Liquid Skin to keep in the first aid kits. They work great. When ever I see the Organic Muir Glen 28 oz crushed tomato cans, I get a bunch of them. Those are hit or miss lately.
I wanted to stop in and say that I made the chicken and rice casserole that you made a video a few days ago and it was absolutely delicious!! Thank you so much for sharing the recipe, and it does make alot! 💕💕
@Homestead Corner. Heads up! I was targeted by a white pudgy Northern guy who was dressed in a white shirt with blue checks and a pair of dark colored trousers in our local Publix yesterday in Florida in the middle of the afternoon. So after one hour with him having no cart and no merchandise in his hand and the 7th time of weaving in and out of aisles, I took out my phone and was going to tale a picture of him. He was pretending to be talking with the phone at his ear. He grabbed a random bag of something amd ran to the register. I became vocal and told the grocery manager to get the store manager. Then a woman and her teen daughter announced in a Northern accent that 2 men were following them. Then another woman popped up. The perp was gone. Never let them get close to you.
Those little white bins I used when my kids were little to clean their feet of grass before they got in their kiddie pool! They would step in that before they got in the pool and the grass came right off their feet and stayed out of the little pool!! My kids are older and I still have that container in my shed for garden stuff!!
Hello Jinni. Great haul. Thanks for sharing. I do believe my favorite items are that canned Cherry pie filling and those cans of Bumble Bee tuna. That being said, have a wonderful weekend - and thanks again and God Bless you for your recommendations as to what we should be adding to out pantries - during these harsh economic times. 👍👍😉😉
I grew up in Maryland but now live in Virginia. I picked Maryland crabs before I could make a p&j sandwich. I hope you let us know how you like the Old Bay seasoning. This is what we use on the east coast 😃 Great video of your haul. Blessings.
Thank you, thank you for your comments, there are lots of us who have to buy certain products based on price. Yes, it would be great to buy organic and whole local beef, but many of us can't afford the extra cost. 73 yo on social security
I was in my dollar tree today and the manager has become a buddy. They are going to be Marking down the frozen food when they get close to their best buy date.
I like the taste and texture of black beans but i don't like the appearance of the black broth. I ordered a flat of the cherry pie filling as our little dollar tree doesn't always have them. They deliver to the store for no shipping.
Hey Jinnie Another amazing video and I love all the things you get for $40. We'd be lucky to get 10 different things here. I love those round cotton wipes. They are heaps better than balls. I am doing okay after my black cat died, but I am missing him so much. Its absolutely heartbreaking losing a beloved pet. What a huge dog you have for protective and loving big hugs. Stay safe my friend and lots of love xx
Thank you for your video. I went mad today at the store(s). I blew $100 of house money and $180 of my own money. It all started with the canned "on sale" Chunk Tuna, $1.27 ... that turned out to be the new and improved for profit "tiny cans" so I didn't buy them. In my frustration I did find bundles of six cans for $9 and bought two bundles on the house, then went back later and got four more bundles for $36 on me. Our Hot Chocolate is $4.99 for a 1 lb canister on sale, .. but there was a 4lb canister for $12 so I bought that. And because the Striped Bass season will soon be upon us, I bought two cases of wide mouth pints for $42 and got extra lids for $5.25 a dozen. Talk about expensive. I can't believe the price of Baking Soda here so when I saw a new No Name brand for $2 for a 1 lb box, I bought five of them. Bought two boxes of Cornstarch while I was at it. Can't go wrong with Cornstarch. Big family sized boxes of KD were 50% off and all three of them are MINE! I brought my oldest Ramen Noodle out of three years in storage and two years past its BBD and there's not a thing wrong with it. Good to know eh? Oh yeah, the dollar store had good quality BBQ sauce selling for $1.50 a bottle so I got eight of those things. I went to the regular store next door and looked at the same BBQ sauce only to see the bottle had shrunk and they wanted $4 for it. Now I'm going back for more of that $1.50 stuff too. And that's only the tip of the prepberg. Keep up the great work and good luck.
You will love the the tool for hamburger. I have been using it for several years now. When browning hamburger, use it to break up an brown faster . It will help to break up into smaller pieces of hamburger.
That chopper you showed--I think you’ll love it! I have one I purchased from Pampered Chef, and I have used it and used it and used it! It helps break meat up nice and fine for tacos and Cincinnati chili, and sausage for gravy.
You find the best stuff at your Dollar Tree! I try to pick a category to focus on and switch it up every couple of weeks. Right now it’s fire starting materials. Naturally I thought of you!❤🇺🇸
Great haul! You always inspire me to keep going! Thank you! I use those dishpans too for cool water for the chickens to cool their feet when it is hot. Take care
My husband laughed at me, but I ordered eight pair of prescription glasses from one of those online companies that start at 695 for a pair of glasses. With a simple prescription sunblock and the frames I got all eight pair for under 100 bucks. Now I know I can have an extra pair of prescription glasses in my bug out bag in my car around the house, basically anywhere I want to have them. Super super important to me to be able to see if she poo poo hits the oscillating device
I can’t believe how many great ideas you bring to us every single video !! Really appreciate your hard work and ALL your hauls !! Thank you Jinne …. You’re the best !! ❤️
I saw the meat chopper on someone else's video awhile back. I looked at multiple Dollar Trees for months and never found one. I ended up ordering a more expensive one on Amazon. It works great, especially if you have a large amount of beef. Of course, now my Dollar Trees have the meat chopper!
These kinds of videos are so helpful. It gives me ideas of what I need to get. It's supposed to be cooler over the next 4 nights here which is when I like to do my canning. I'm going to make beans and ham, from the ham bones I have left over from holiday meals. I also want to do some more lentil soup from your recipe. And vegetable soup. Then I can add whatever meat I've canned to the vegetables. I'm going to add some navy beans to the vegetable soup so I can just serve it over rice for a complete protein, without adding meat too.
I am using those coconut fiber bricks, with used coffee grounds, potting soil, and crushed eggshells with my tomato plants. They were doing great. Hoping they survive the hail storm this afternoon.
I was out putting 5 gallon buckets & used large plant pots over my tomatoes, peppers, eggplants & moringa Thursday morning and will be doing the same this afternoon as we have more heavy rain & possibly hail forecast. I put a brick or paver on top of the bucket or pot. Blessings from NW Florida!
The expanding soils are great to keep in a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. If the ground soil is compromised, you will need safe soil that is not contaminated. Compact soil is a great way to be prepared. ❤❤❤
I actually saw that exact same tub at Albertsons yesterday. I was thinking I needed to get one when I was at Dollar Tree and since I was down that aisle at Albertsons I checked the price. They were charging $8.75 down here in Grapevine texas.
Check all the labels for bioengineered ingredients! Most of name brands of sweetened condensed milk is ok but store brands have who know what in them. 😳😳😳😡
That ground meat tool is awesome. $1.25 is a good price. My first one I found at $General for $5. You have to be careful when using as the handle is thin. I still have my first one but found a really heavy duty one at Walmart (Tastey brand) it was about $7 but is worth the price. I was canning several pounds of ground meat from my freezer last week and precookiing it. That tool was so nice to use.
Oh, make rice night b4. Fried rice , veges, ham & pineapple, fried together. P.F.Chang has Mango sweet&sour sauce. Hawaiian vacation w/o the planefare.
Hey Jinnie I love your Dollar Tree hauls. Obvs, we don't have DT in the UK but you give me some great ideas for for my pantry. Love your admission about tomatoes, I could never grow enough for canning, I use the little dehumidifiers in my cellar pantry, too. I have about 6 pairs of readers all over the house😂.
Just went to dollar tree and stocked up around 50.00. Razors shave cream, dental floss franks hot sauce zip ties toothpaste gloves lots of gloves and much more
We love our meat chopper. Still can't find the Kinder's Seafood here but I'll keep looking. The Old Bay is so perfect with steamed shrimp, potatoes and corn on the cob. Thanks for the video.
I hope you make a video next week showing canning beans. You are helping so many! Thank you for doing these videos. I tell my sisters the things you suggest and have shared your videos. God bless you!
I use the white wash tub to help thaw things out Syrian I'll put them in the tub with water and ice and then set up an on top of whatever I'm thawing with water to help hold it down
Hi Jinnie, heard on the news last night that there is a recall for Gold Medal flour due to salmonella contamination. Wanted to share that with you and your viewers.
The Well, YES! Sipping Soups are really good. I LOVE the Tomato but the Corn is also good.I got them to have as a basis for meals: rice, grains, beans, meat, whatever. Your hauls are like mine.
The corn and poblano soup is delicious! Just found your channel; I'm newly retired and looking for tips on frugal living and eating. Thanks for posting!
I use the white tubs during canning season for washing fruits and vegetables, another one for skin, seeds and pits. If anyone uses Thai Kitchen brown rice noodles check your DT, mine had plenty with a use by of 11/24.
That's a really great haul Jinne, a good mix, & the Meat chopper is a very handy thing too. I saw someone on a video call it a 'Spatulator,' I've called it that ever since. Lol. TFS HC, take care & keep really busy everyone. ❤🙂🐶
I always use one of those washtubs in the sink. I have a large sink and it would take a lot of water to fill it to soak dishes in. It uses a lot less water to soak them in the tub.
Lol, my Budget is on a Budget. Lol. I get what I can get. Last time I got 32 items which is $40.00. Got quite a Variety. Thanks for your Encouragement and Help. Great Haul. I can never find any Moisture Absorbers at our Dollar Tree. I am think of getting an Electric one. Have a Great Weekend. 5:43pm
Hello Miss Jinne. I wonder if you've seen this at the Dollar Trees where you live....I walked in to my local DT the other day and was shocked to see that about one third of the store had huge signs at the tops of the shelves that said: "Dollar Tree Plus". And this whole section had larger items, prices $3, $5, $10, $15 and higher. That whole section of the store was like a Dollar General or Family Dollar. So that also left much less room in the store for the actual dollar items. I was shocked and disappointed. For awhile now I've been thinking they were going to raise their prices to maybe $1.50. But whoa! They just went full on not a Dollar store for a third of the store. Just wondered if you've seen that in your area. Or if anyone else has.
Ours started adding at least 2 aisles of higher priced merchandise in February. I check them & have bought a really nice sketchbook journal & a sturdy tote basket for under $5 each, which was much less than anywhere else..... but normally there's nothing that I am looking for on those aisles. Blessings from NW Florida!
I had seen those meat chopper in cooking videos and thought it was silly. Found them at DT and thought for grins and giggles I would try it. I now have two. 😄 Turns out they work great. Hope you have the same experience with yours. 👍🏻💖
I love them too... I always try to get a discount...you can't have too any LIDS....RINGS ON THE OTHER HAND.... WOW... I HAVE LIDS COMING OUT MY EARS...your dollar tree has so much more than mine does...lol but I keep looking... the meat chopper is amazing for chopping hamburger or sausage, I would hate to be without mine, I use it all the time. thanks for the video... Deb from South Dakota
I recently loaded up on stuff, later then I usually do because I waited til after Ramadan to do my shoping. tofay someone left snacks in my mosque entry so I and others too soe of those home
Thanks for the fire starter tip I go through lots of wax melts. I usually dump the wax on my dryer lint inside a toilet paper roll. But this might be cleaner.
Great haul Jinne! I love all those items. I'm going tomorrow to DG and DT. Love the dollar aisle in DG. Thank you for sharing this video with us. Please remember all the families impacted by the storms and tornadoes in the south. I have special family in Florida Panhandle. Have a wonderful weekend with your family.😊❤️👍☕
I like to take the chunk pineapple put a couple big spoons in the mini ninja and then add the dollar tree coconut milk Add some ice and blend until all smooth. It is so delicious I call it my non alcohol piña colada 😃
Yum!
Sounds delicious
Cool, that might make a nice popsicle too.
Yay Pina Colada
I blew it, Jinne!! 🤦🏻♀️
I ended up spending $84 at the Dollar Tree….BUT my husband couldn’t believe how many sacks of groceries I came home with for that $84 !!! 😅

What an awesome subscriber to send the lids! We have a wonderful homestead community.
Great haul video as always!
I bought a meat chopper. My sister said she loved it. I wasn’t impressed until I made mashed potatoes!

They have big bags of baking soda at big box stores like Costco and at restaurant supply stores.
I add frozen or fresh blueberries to a can of cherry pie filling and then make a crisp or pie.
I went yesterday, just now getting cord, twine, more gloves, no zip ties tho… but I had you in mind while shopping
I did my 40.00 stock up this week! Everyone should stock a little, it’s so important! Love your videos! 😊
The cherries are great on ice-cream!

Love the meat chopper. It's not a necessity but for a few bucks, I gave it a try. We also love old bay, been using it for years
We’ve used Old Bay on chickens for our rotisserie. So good!
I bought one of the cherry pie filling to make cobbler with. 😁

Old Bay is terrific Jon so many things. Soup, popcorn, amazing on crabs, and on corn on the cob
$40 is still a lot for me but the DT makes that $40 go far. 🙂
Just went to dollar tree and stocked up around 50.00. Razors shave cream, dental floss franks hot sauce zip ties toothpaste gloves lots of gloves and much more
The meat chopper is wonderful..especially for ground beef
Great haul!👍.
You’re going to LOVE the new cooking tool! I use it on ground beef & ground Turkey ALOT! It’s sooo easy👍 14:23

My Daughter put me onto the meat chopper. It is wonderful. I love it 😊
The Well, YES! Sipping Soups are really good. I LOVE the Tomato but the Corn is also good.I got them to have as a basis for meals: rice, grains, beans, meat, whatever. Your hauls are like mine.
could you do a haul of non food items from Dollar Tree so we can see what you would get?
Thanks for the pie filling tip, I have a hard time finding it for a decent price
Jinne, you are just delightful. Thank you.
I am so jealous….none of our Dr stores have those Kinders seasoning ….what a deal!!! Have a great weekend! I’m doing beans this weekend too!
Dollar tree!!!
Love your videos and your shirt. I have a blue one like that.
Thanks for sharing! The corned beef hash is also a good deal at dollar tree.
I found batteries for $1 for a 6 pack at my local dollar general they where in the clearance I grabbed all 4 of them
Old Bay Seasoning is good, but very salty.
Pinterest has recipes for making your own, enabling you to control the salt.
You always have great ideas for some of the products you buy. I would have never thought t use the cotton balls in wax then to start a fire. Great job
You turned me on to the cherry pie filling, I've been stocking up on them lately
That's a really great haul Jinne, a good mix, & the Meat chopper is a very handy thing too. I saw someone on a video call it a 'Spatulator,' I've called it that ever since. Lol.
TFS HC, take care & keep really busy everyone. ❤🙂🐶
I've been waiting for months for my DT to get those meat choppers.
I always use one of those washtubs in the sink. I have a large sink and it would take a lot of water to fill it to soak dishes in. It uses a lot less water to soak them in the tub.
My Mother-in-Law Did This @ the Cabin!
The meat chopper works well. I also use it for different canning to get it smooshed well.
The meat tool works great!
Really good finds and a great video!
Jinni I would love to see what your family eats in a week. I think it would be a great series from you.

My basement is so humid, especially after a good rain storm, we have 3 dehumidifiers running to keep the basement dry.

I had seen those meat chopper in cooking videos and thought it was silly. Found them at DT and thought for grins and giggles I would try it. I now have two. 😄 Turns out they work great. Hope you have the same experience with yours. 👍🏻💖
Thanks for your ideas Jinne, I bought lots of raisins for my canned hams but didn't consider pineapples for some dumb reason.
I was just considering opening a can of the cherry pie filling to test it and an old can opener I found in the shop!
I eat cherries out of the can too.
That was a great haul , thanks for the share , Thanks Jinne
Thanks for the fire starter tip I go through lots of wax melts. I usually dump the wax on my dryer lint inside a toilet paper roll. But this might be cleaner.
Awesome haul for $40.00
What a beautiful blessing 💓💓🎉🎉🎉
Love your channel
Great haul Jinne! I love all those items. I'm going tomorrow to DG and DT. Love the dollar aisle in DG. Thank you for sharing this video with us. Please remember all the families impacted by the storms and tornadoes in the south. I have special family in Florida Panhandle. Have a wonderful weekend with your family.😊❤️👍☕
Hello have a great evening.
