According to Amazon: - Hobbits are evil: leave their own people behind to die. - Orcs are good. They are just victims. They take care of their own people.
@@agustinpo6436 In letters to Tolkien's son Christopher he wrote "Yes, I think the orcs as real a creation as anything in 'realistic' fiction ... only in real life they are on both sides, of course. For 'romance' has grown out of 'allegory', and its wars are still derived from the 'inner war' of allegory in which good is on one side and various modes of badness on the other. In real (exterior) life men are on both sides: which means a motley alliance of orcs, beasts, demons, plain naturally honest men, and angels."
@@torrinmcgeehicks8698 He is basically saying that fiction is different to real life. In fiction you have a 100% Good Guys and 100% Bad Guys. In Real Life that would not be the case. Could you provide the letter's number so I can further inspect it? Also, could you provide the name of the orcs that fought against Morgoth/Sauron in the Five Battles of Beleriand, in the War between the Elves and Sauron, in the Last Alliance and in the War of the Ring? Thanks in advance!
@agustinpo6436 it's letters 66 and 71, there's a video by Jess of the Shire I would recommend watching, if interested, because she goes into the nuance of Tolkien Orcs
I think this happens because: 1) they are not being led by sauron or morgoth 2) these orc are closer to elves than the orcs of the third age 3) they are not bred in mindless copious numbers like they were in other ages
yeah, they should have contacted Saruman and ask him... I'm sure he would tell them how first orcs came to be...
But later orcs had babies. The first orcs weren't immortal.
This is literally having no clue about Tolkien's work and creations , you ended up whit an orc family 😂😂
Stunning and brave!

Fun fact Orcs have been on both sides of most wars in Middle Earth.
