- Darla Hood from the Little Rascals as an adult on the Jack Benny program from Oct 30, 1962. I met and photographed George ‘Spanky’ McFarland when he was touring colleges in the ‘70s. Darla was also making the rounds and I would have loved to have met her. Sadly, she passed away at 47 in 1979.
She was an adorable little girl and a beautiful woman. Sad she died so young.
SHE reminds me of Kari Lake !!!
She was the cutest little girl and so talented. She grew up to be so beautiful. She died way too young 😢
She certainly grew up to be a beautiful, classy woman!
I have a movie with her in it, The Bat, but I had no idea she was such a great songstress. Thanks for the fun clip. What a talent, loved her in Our Gang. Loved em all!!
What an excellent singer and performer! And she really seems to have had survived the hazards of childhood stardom.
Thanks for posting this incredible glimpse at her as an adult.
She was great performer. Too young to die at that age!
Shes a cute kid in the our gang..she grew up as a good looking woman!
Rest In Peace darla hood
You could tell as a little girl that she was going to grow up and be a very attractive woman!
Wow!
So pretty in that pure natural kind of way, like Rachel McAdams.
Wow!!
I just used spectral analysis on her voice and compared it to the 'unknown singer' who performed "Let's go Sunning" and got a MATCH! :O
