PRAISE JENNA AND JULIEN FOR FEEDING THEIR ANIMALS THE MEATY DIETS THEY NEED! You are doing so great with doggy care and being vegan. I am so glad you guys are knowledgeable about this information. I have been wondering that. I would like to know what you do feed your pets, since I know you do your research. I want to get through my last year of college and vet school to do research into what is the best to feed your pets, because of how much conflicting information brands give you.
Claire M absolutely incorrect, like humans they’ve been classified as omnivores, and they can easily thrive on a plant based diet if planned correctly. The oldest living dog who passed some years ago was a 27 year old vegan border collie on a fresh food diet. There are numerous vegan dog food brands that are scientifically engineered to meet all their nutritional needs, but it’s really not even that difficult with dogs. Cats are trickier because they are in fact obligate carnivores, mostly because felines don’t produce taurine naturally like humans and dogs and most other animals. Without it they can go blind. Fortunately, synthesized taurine (which is what is in Red Bull) has the exact same effect as naturally occurring taurine which is what cats consume in meat. There are actually some cats who are seriously allergic to meat, which is a little ironic but obviously presented a conundrum that helped to fund the research that went into creating vegan cat food with supplemented synthetic taurine. If you’re extra scared the food won’t do enough, they also make nutritional supplements for animals. The arguments people use for humans “needing” to eat meat are the same ones people make for cats and dogs, and they’ve been proven invalid over and over again. Many many dogs and cats I know are thriving on a plant-based diet.
Claire M who told you dogs were carnivores? That’s not even the accepted status by scientists who push meat consumption lol. Why are you bringing Peta into this? Nothing to do with them and I don’t support the way they go about things. You two are so amazing. You display your intelligence as easily as you display your silliness, your love, and your dedication. And to top it all off you're fantastic parents to your fur babies. Your ability to brighten even bad days for me is why I spend a great deal of time binge watching your videos. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do.
In my college class Cultural Anthropology we had the most obnoxious people as well. Surprising how ANGRY people got at the mention of Egyptians in history. We had a guy argue with our, extremely obnoxious, instructor about aliens. Like, I get it man, conspiracy and stuff, but I'm just trying to get through the class and leave lol
I totally get what you're saying about veganism. My argument has always been that we, as humans, don't NEED animal byproducts to survive, so I don't eat them. On the other hand, dogs and cats DO need animal byproducts to survive, so I feed it to them. Some sacrifices need to be made, what's important is that we are always doing our best when we can!
I also think it's important to remember that vegan doesn't necessarily mean cruelty-free or that no animals were harmed. There are huge amounts of deforestation happening to accommodate large scale agriculture.
@@hannahkerrigan3582 I would also add that veganism can still exploit people. Produce is especially susceptible to using underpaid migrant labor. As important as it is to protect our environment and animals, it's equally important to remember the humans who work to create and produce vegan products. To live a humane life, we must be humane to animals as well as our fellow humans.
@@SharkSnoot But don't forget this exact same thing happens in meat farming and even more so in abattoir work. So many disadvantaged people are exploited in that industry, can you imagine the mental strain of working in an abattoir! And those underpaid workers in agriculture are growing food for farm animals too, that's where the majority of soy goes. Veganism isn't perfect, but nothing is! Just like you said, we all definitely need to pay more attention to where our food comes from (and what it's packaged in), for the sake of humans, the animals and the environment!
@@TeenyDragon while you make a good point, you sort of derailed the conversation by turning away from veganism to meat eating. We all agree there's problems there, but we were specifically talking about some of the issues of veganism. Feel free to make your own comment about the problems of the meat industry
Ehhh. I think the past tense is yate. Eat -> Ate. Yeet -> Yate. I eat an orange. I ate an orange. I yeet an orange. I yate an orange. MAKES SENSE TO ME IDKKKK
But “eat” has “ea”. So does “seat”. “Yeet” has “ee” like “meet”, for which the past tense is “met”. Therefore the past tense of “yeet” is unequivocally “yet” goodbye.
hey jenna and julien, i know your probs not reading this but it’s worth a shot. 2 years ago i was at the manchester bombing (the ariana show? idk if americans really know about it or not) and i saw things that no 16 year old should have seen (i won’t go into detail, don’t worry). ever since that night i have dealt with mild-medium PTSD, but for the last 6 months for some reason it has been really bad. every night i find it impossible to sleep. but in these last 6 months, i have listened to your podcast every night from around 10pm to 2am, and i swear to god you will never understand how much you have helped me. this sounds weird but the only thing that makes me feel comfortable enough to sleep is listening to you two talk about literally anything- this one especially was one of my favourites because the personal Q+A type podcasts just distract me from my own worries. i just had to comment my appreciation because i GENUINELY don’t know i would’ve survived without you both. there are still some nights where i can’t sleep at all, but on normal nights like this, i can always count on J+J to be there for me and help me sleep. i’m rambling at this point but i don’t know how else to express my gratitude (also it’s 3AM i can’t sleep tonight so i’m kinda delirious). thank you jenna and julien. you will never ever EVER understand the impact you have. thank you so very much- i truly owe you everything. i wouldn’t have coped with school, work, and generally living due to my PTSD if it weren’t for this podcast. ashley ❤️ update/edit: i sent this to jenna and julien on twitter and jenna replied and honestly i have never valued anything more. i won’t be sleeping tonight but for a good reason this time. Thank you so much jenna and julien❤️
I wish you the best. I hope you are able to continue finding peace in them, as well as other outlets. I have PTSD from something else, and can understand the sleepiness nights. I can tell you, that with plenty of work and support, things do get better. ❤❤

My dad is a VP for a large engineering company here in Houston. He told me that all college & degrees really mean to him, when hiring specifically, is that they prove you were able to commit to something for years and see it through. I always really liked that, because what you learn might not always be what you do, and having a degree shows that discipline in your character.
I did podcast first because I've been cleaning. It's nice to have JnJ in my ears as I'm cleaning. Then, once I'm done, I'll watch the vlog while I'm chillin'.
Most Communication Colleges at University are focused on information relay. At my school the majors in tne Communication school are Public Relations, Advertisement, Journalism, Radio Television and Film, even Speech Pathology and the Study of Speech Disability etc. It’s a really wide and broad college to go into and I feel like a lot of freshmen start off there or taking those classes bc they’re generally more fun and interesting :)

You two are so amazing. You display your intelligence as easily as you display your silliness, your love, and your dedication. And to top it all off you're fantastic parents to your fur babies.
Your ability to brighten even bad days for me is why I spend a great deal of time binge watching your videos. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do.
the dink fam is so amazing !! thank you for being an amazing dink this comment is so wholesome. have a nice dayyyyy ❤️.

70s vibe from this podcast with the clothing/colors 💞
Omg I really enjoyed this podcast because I am obsessed with getting to know you guys even better and deeper. You guys have consumed my soul!
“Sleep is very very important”
*is watching at 4am*
I totally get what you're saying about veganism. My argument has always been that we, as humans, don't NEED animal byproducts to survive, so I don't eat them. On the other hand, dogs and cats DO need animal byproducts to survive, so I feed it to them. Some sacrifices need to be made, what's important is that we are always doing our best when we can!
Practical veganism really is the way to go, especially when you consider that veganism isn't accommodated everywhere/ not everyone can go 100% vegan
Feel free to make your own comment about the problems of the meat industry
y'all should do a podcast with a fan, have a virtual fan call in or something
J NG can I be on it? Lol
What’s that smell? Is a Bachelor of Science 😂
Ehhh. I think the past tense is yate. Eat -> Ate. Yeet -> Yate.
I eat an orange. I ate an orange. I yeet an orange. I yate an orange.
MAKES SENSE TO ME IDKKKK
Heck no
But what about like seat and seated? I took a seat and I was seated. I did a yeet, and I yeeted. IDKKKK EITHERRR
@@theogbunn7672 Good point. I NEED ANSWERS.
But “eat” has “ea”. So does “seat”. “Yeet” has “ee” like “meet”, for which the past tense is “met”. Therefore the past tense of “yeet” is unequivocally “yet” goodbye.
*yote
38:48 IS THIS WHERE JENNAS LOVE FOR TOOTHBRUSHES STARTED?!?!
hey jenna and julien, i know your probs not reading this but it’s worth a shot.
2 years ago i was at the manchester bombing (the ariana show? idk if americans really know about it or not) and i saw things that no 16 year old should have seen (i won’t go into detail, don’t worry). ever since that night i have dealt with mild-medium PTSD, but for the last 6 months for some reason it has been really bad. every night i find it impossible to sleep. but in these last 6 months, i have listened to your podcast every night from around 10pm to 2am, and i swear to god you will never understand how much you have helped me. this sounds weird but the only thing that makes me feel comfortable enough to sleep is listening to you two talk about literally anything- this one especially was one of my favourites because the personal Q+A type podcasts just distract me from my own worries. i just had to comment my appreciation because i GENUINELY don’t know i would’ve survived without you both. there are still some nights where i can’t sleep at all, but on normal nights like this, i can always count on J+J to be there for me and help me sleep. i’m rambling at this point but i don’t know how else to express my gratitude (also it’s 3AM i can’t sleep tonight so i’m kinda delirious). thank you jenna and julien. you will never ever EVER understand the impact you have.
thank you so very much- i truly owe you everything. i wouldn’t have coped with school, work, and generally living due to my PTSD if it weren’t for this podcast.
ashley ❤️
update/edit: i sent this to jenna and julien on twitter and jenna replied and honestly i have never valued anything more. i won’t be sleeping tonight but for a good reason this time. Thank you so much jenna and julien❤️
She responded to this on Twitter! :)
El Futbolero ahhhhh i know i’m over the mooon😭😭 i wish i could repay them for everything they do :,) truly amazing people
I wish you the best. I hope you are able to continue finding peace in them, as well as other outlets. I have PTSD from something else, and can understand the sleepiness nights. I can tell you, that with plenty of work and support, things do get better. ❤❤
Hi honey. I hope you’re surrounded by loved ones & people that can help you. Caitlin Doughty really helped me deal with grief/death, I’d recommend her videos any day of the week to a fellow hurt soul. ❤️
J and J/ the dink fam restore faith in humanity
BIF is actually a term we used when I worked at a camp, it stood for Bathroom in Forest.
Jenna: Do you like potatoes?
Me: *looks into camera like I'm in Parks & Rec or The Office*
5:40 her little paws against the table 😭💗
Peach looks like an elegant swan on Julens lap at 6:32
Feeling the 70's vibe ... Julien looks like he belongs in Starsky & Hutch
One of my absolute favorite podcasts was creating over-the-top 2017 comments! I can't help but cry/laugh as I rewatch it!!🤣🤣
OH MY YESSSSS
I think kermit would be an accountant that's low key addicted to cocaine on the side
marbles is a cop FOR SURE
I’m so glad I never watched the podcasts when they came out for some reason. I get to watch these like they’re new..I miss y’all’s content and hope you’re thriving 🥰 I do still watch julens content but you two together is ✨chefs kiss✨
My dad is a VP for a large engineering company here in Houston. He told me that all college & degrees really mean to him, when hiring specifically, is that they prove you were able to commit to something for years and see it through. I always really liked that, because what you learn might not always be what you do, and having a degree shows that discipline in your character.
Idk if I should watch Julien's vlog or the Podcast? Lol 😂
Both
At the same time
Vlog first then pod
Such a good dilemma to have ❤
I did podcast first because I've been cleaning.
Loved your explanation about intro psych class. I didn’t have that much since my intro was an online course. I don’t remember anyone telling their life story unprovoked, but we had open discussions that usually involved real life experiences. That was my favorite part of getting my BA in Psychology.
julen why would you post a podcast and a peach vlog at the same time, now i must choose
I love that the podcast backgrounds have been celebrating pride month 🌈 it’s the little things ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Jenna and Julien literally picked the worst day of the week and decided to make everyone's hard day better with their love and I will never get over it. Making Monday's worth waking up to. 💞
So, I haven't watched a whole bunch of their podcasts yet, but I have yet to see Jenna talk directly about a sponsorship. I have a feeling that she asked Julien to do them all, and I think it's incredibly sweet that Julien does it for her because he knows she doesn't like talking about being sponsored.
Agree
yes I don't remember which podcast but I think she said something about not liking to do the sponsorships because she feels awkward so julien usually does them
Corn on the CORN BONE? ABSOLUTELY EXCUSE ME??
Right?! HOW VERY DARE THEY????
I use Calm all the time. I'm in treatment for mental health and my support worker told me to install it... so Thankful for it!
"Sometimes you have two side for your lunch" omg I'm only vegetarian and I feel your pain so much. Chips, salads, and other sides are your fried when you're dragged to a steak house, sea food restaurant or usually on holiday when they don't cater for vegans, vegetarians, ect. Thank you for reading 🥰
hearing what jobs the dogs would have delighted me so much more than i could have ever anticipated
I'll tell you what y'all, I am approaching my third year of studying communication and I have yet the ability to describe wtf I'm learning :).
Omg I HATE whenever me being vegan becomes the topic at a restaurant hahah. I always say the most outrageous thing to turn the topic away from veganism. Good advice Julien hahah
here in the UK vegan food is much easier to come by in restaurants. actually some places have a separate menu for vegans which is awesome. I always struggle when I visit my family in WNY to find food I'm happy eating :(
bskye7 yes they’ve become SO good at labelling over a short amount of time it’s great
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for talking about college and how long it took to decide what you wanted to do✨ I've been struggling with this lately and it's encouraging to hear you guys speak on this and testify about the experiences you had
I’m at the dmv about to take my driving test and this is the only thing calming me down ❤️ thanks
Update: I passed if any of y’all need a ride hmu
Hillary you got this!!!!!!!
Sarena Altman thanks I passed :))))
Hillary oh wow look at you!!! Congratulations 🎊🍾🎈🎉!
I think that was a REALLY good explanation of veganism. "I try my very best" is such a great and true point.
Perfect for my day off! Thank you both. I really feel like you guys are part of my family. ❤️
I love your profile picture..
nice profile pic jensen 😍😍
julien uploaded his vlog and podcast at the same time n i had a crisis on what to watch first
All I can think of is 20 years from now and for some reason UA-cam is dead and Janna has to be a psychologist and I just see her being like “Hey beetch it’s me Jenna beetch let’s talk about your mental health beetch”
Your podcasts are my Calm 😳 You guys talking is so relaxing 😄
Omg please make a video of you making “uniforms” for all the dogs’ new jobs!!! Please!!!!
my favorite thing is watching jenna rhinestone her face with beethoven in the background.
kills me every time.
Another marblecast!!!! Such a good cute doggo
As a Communications major there are multiple branches you can take. Journalism, Public Relations, or Media Studies (studying about movies and making movies I.e. video and audio production) I really love movies so being able to talk about that everyday was amazing.
Someone draw the dogs dressed in their work clothes!!!!
React to Jenna marbles being an Edwardian lady!!!
I just watched this like an hour ago! So funny and a really good creator too.
so i have some great news for u
Kermit is a retired General who struggles with his PTSD but is really fun at parties after he's had a few to help him relax
Literally my fiancee hahahaha. He wasn't a general tho, he was an army chef who ended up in iraq.
