You should have a “cabinet” giveaway based on whoever can count how many times you say “cabinet(s) the quickest after you release a video. 😂. Fun fun 😂

I still have all, but the Frogger, and TMNT cab. Never was able to find them locally, and yeah, I was miffed about the alternate music track on Frogger. LOL I wish you all the best, in tracking down all those cabs. I've come to realize the shark fin / swan back cabs kind of resemble candy cabs, so that's one reason I kept them. Thanks for sharing. :)

I think they will. Maybe by the end of the year. Once I saw them to NBA Jam as a Deluxe, I figure it's only a matter of time

This company is not what it once was. They hired a bunch of millennials to run the show who don't have a clue what to do. They were never in an 80's and early 90's arcade.

@xcom6466 This is true! The company has definitely lost some momentum and lost its way with the group running the show now. There is a rumor going around that they are looking to sell the company. Guess time will tell

Steve V, another great video as always, but I do have some opinions about your topic today! For one, you have two wave 3 cabs, Ms PacMan (2020) & Frogger (2020), which were introduced at CES 2019 but didn't come out until later or early 2020! However, those cabs are considered as a wave 3..
When we look at cabinets during wave 4 (TMNT turtles in time, Class of 81, SF2 Big Blue, Tron, Dragon Lair, and Ms Pacman Wood Grain Edition) these cabs was introduced during CES/EVO 2021!
When I come to Space invaders, I have to agree with @VideoGameVegas. I would bring this cab back out only if it became a Tatio legacy cab with Robocop and Space Invaders as marquee games!

Thanks GCA. Appreciate you checking out the video.
I was trying to find a list with all the cabinets and what Wave/Gens they were, but it was very difficult. I had to go off memory, so I knew I could be off as far as the wave/gen. Could remember the timelines for the most part. 2019 and 2020 I thought there were 2 waves/gens those years. Wave 2 at CES and Wave 3 that Summer. Same thing with 2020. Wave 4 CES and Wave 5 in the Summer. That where I got confused

I have a Rampage, but with the wrong deck protector. This cab gave me a lot of issues with the monitor, the little white plug that connected to the PCB kept popping loose and had to keep popping it back in. Then one day fired it up the monitor was dead but you could still hear the sound coming from the speaker. I also had extra games added to the PCB by Berry Berry Sneaky( Remember Him!?) Maybe I should get a new monitor and get it back running again.

Oh my god. I still have 8 cabs(or 9 if you count the 2023 re-release of star wars cab) that you say you still wish you had. Just missed out on the original centipede. It's funny though as those are the cabinets that are holding space in my garage along with some new ones like time crisis and and pacman xl. Im debating daily on swapping them out for the others I bought that are still in boxes like xmen, simpsons, nfl blitz. Decisions decisions.

Space is the biggest hurdle in this hobby. Hard making space for everything. I always tell myself "if you play it, keep it." That's how I make my decision on what stays and what goes....doesn't mean you won't want what leaves back though haha as you can tell from my video. I had most of the 10 I meationed at one point

@@SteveVsManCaveArcade I am kinda happy in a financial sort of way arcade 1up not releasing new ones as I literally have spent over 30,000 on these cabs, upgrades, broken parts, mods, riser boosters, wall decors, chairs, you name it. I’m happy I was able to recreate a childhood fantasy. Now I can move on lol. I got 35 here and a bunch still sealed. ua-cam.com/video/RyrzkRPygWY/v-deo.html

    Steve V.
It sounds like you want these cabinets mainly for the looks, and if that works for you, that's cool. Atari Star Wars is the only one I can recommend, because it not only looks the part, but plays outstanding! There are 2 cabinets in particular from your list that I'd recommend to stay away from.
Rampage, you're really only getting 3 games on the cabinet, because Defender is absolutely unplayable with the button layout. I tried this one back in the day at a Best Buy and I can tell you first hand, this one is a mess for Defender. As for wanting a Rampage with a deck protector, I'd be more concerned getting one with the fixed pcb installed. Gauntlet, one of the games you're excited for, has a glitch on the stock pcb that at a certain level it won't play anymore. Arcade1Up sent out replacement pcb's with the fix for those who requested them. Since you have the game on a Midway Classic, Gauntlet isn't a compelling reason to get this cab. So that leaves you with just Rampage and Joust. If you're only concerned with getting 2 guaranteed playable games, and just care about the Rampage cabinet art, then I guess, go for it.
There is a MUCH BETTER looking and playing Space Invaders cab that has received some great reviews and that's the iiRcade Space Invaders Gold Edition. It may be equally, if not more hard to find, but you may want to consider that one. Not only does it have the wrap around art style and addition of a light up marquee, but you can play the game Space Invaders in either Japanese style with the joystick, or how I remember playing in the arcade, with buttons for movement. Plus, you get 11 additional games, and depending on who you buy it from, you may get even more, not to mention, Glen from Glen's Retro Show has a solution coming out to add more games. And unlike the Arcade1Up edition which doesn't have accurate sound for Space Invaders, iiRcade worked painstakingly with Taito to get everything exactly right, just like the arcade. You get both Space Invaders in b&w and color, and you also have the authentic background graphic on the screen, which you can toggle on and off. The reason Arcade1Up didn't re-release this cab is because it didn't sell. I saw these things stacked up at Walmart back in the day for $20 a piece! Also, if you want an AMAZING Space Invaders look in your Mancave, I recommend getting a Numskull 1/4 scale recreation, which has the OUTSTANDING ghost pepper effect mimicking the actual background graphic JUST LIKE the arcade. Oh, and not to mention, Numskull also makes an original 4 Player TMNT 1/4 scale. And you love shelf pieces, so this would be right at home and give you the feels. Do you really need a substandard Arcade1Up Space Invaders taking up valuable space in the Mancave?
Just some thoughts. I know you'll do what's best for you and I'll be there to celebrate any changes!

I appreciate the heads up on the Rampage cabinet. Other than that deck protector situation, I completely forgot about those other issues. I think my Midway Legacy Cabinet will suffice.
As far as the SpaceInvaders iiRade goes, I do think they did an amazing job with that cabinet. If I were to ever get an iiRade that would be the one. I guess time will tell what I end up getting...if any. Still waiting to see what could come around the corner. Thanks as always for watching and commenting VGV

Rampage was the first cab I bought back on release day. I thought I'd never sell it, but the games all play better on the MK Deluxe, plus it has the 4 player rom for Gauntlet, along with the online play. The Rampage art is great, though, and I almost held onto it after getting the MK Deluxe.
I would love to get the Burger Time cab for Karate Champ. I hate that I passed it up.

Rampage was a beautiful cabinet. They did a great job with the esthetic. Was reminded in the comments about some of the problems the cab had as far as gameplay. I forgot about that. Maybe one day they will re-release a Rampage cab with Rampage World, Gauntlet and afew other Midway titles. Hopefully a Burgertime Deluxe Cabinet will be coming in the future aswell

I know it seems nuts, but sometimes you sell things to make space, then regret it after. Not just an A1Up thing. People do that with other collections too. Just the nature of the beast

you're missing out on the new centipede.
the new one is way better. better controls, better games, better everything.
the tempest cabinet has a high rate of failures.
the screen orientation makes NO difference at all. i've been able to max out centipede at 999,999 and
the screen is about 80% the size anyways.
if it bugs you that much mod it with a different screen (and adjust the bezel)
    your loss.

The new Centipede is beautiful. No denying that. The TN monitor was more the problem for me. Everything else was perfect. I just mentioned the vertical screen as a positive on the old cab cause it's the original way to play the game. Either way, the Centipede Atari Legacy Cabinet is amazing. Glad your enjoying it
