    📌 What was the most helpful tip from today's lesson? Does anyone know how many times I said the words "emphasis" and "contrast?" 🤣

      I've counted at least five times 🤔. Although implicit, I had never heard rule number two: 'never separate the main verb and its object'🫡

    How many of you often confuse ADVERBS with ADJECTIVES? Raise your hand! 💁‍♀💁‍♂💁Don't give up, it takes practice to get it right! Thank you, Gina, for creating a video just focused on teaching us adverbs

    I'm impressed by how well you explained that grammar point, and I have a question about ''on Saturday night''. Can we call it a prepositional phrase and also an adverb of time?

    • @yourworldinenglish
      @yourworldinenglish  10 місяців тому

      Great question 😃 Yes! A prepositional phrase is considered an “adverbial phrase” if it modifies a verb, but it’s an “adjectival phrase if it modifies a noun.
      For example, “The party on Saturday night was crazy!” (Here, “on Saturday night” modifies “The party” as the subject of the sentence.) I hope this helps 😊

Please teach us how to construct a sentence using non finite verbs.if you can make a comparison between non finite and normal sentence , will bd better.
