Oh I love this video! Pls d 12" u used at the down part of the skirt is it standard? I tort it's supposed to be what you have at the kneel is what u will insert at the down part of the shirt and add ur allowance? Pls help and put me right🙏
Then for the zip, how many inches will I come down from my waist, bcos u didn't mention that, is 7" or 8" or 9" fine?
Pls🙏 I'm a beginner ooo, that is y my question is much!

The 12" is not standard
I just use my tape to measure how wide I want my skirt to be
That is how I got the 12
I usually don't like my straight skirt to be too wide
You can decide to use the knee measurement also it will work
For the zipper I usually use 6"
