My dad bought me one of these when I was in high school. It made me feel like a fairytale character without it going against dress code. Years later and I still wear it with my dresses in the winter to feel like a frolicking snow fairy!

Я шила себе такую вещь. И мой опыт говорит, что не на каждую фигуру подойдёт. Например при объёмных выступающих ягодицах - не очень смотрится) слишком монументальный вид🙂

this blew my mind... I actually want to try this but with two coordinated different fabrics, so it's reversible! I usually don't like how most 'wear different ways' things look but these were all super cute! when you turned it into a lil cape my jaw dropped! I'm saving this for when I come across these fluffy throw blankets I've kept for years because I just KNEW they would be perfect for SOEMTHING! aaaa sorry I'm half awake and now I'm just so excited

Okay, so I'm definitely not part of the target demographic here, but I do dabble in cosplay and character creation and that sort of stuff. And I have to say, the very instant I saw just the preview image for this, I immediately thought "Oh wow, that looks EXACTLY like the sort of thing one of my characters would wear!" And after watching, I most certainly am not disappointed!

I was familiar with the design, only made in cross stitching. Seeing it made out of fleece seems so much easier and quicker! I think I’ll make a reversible one: two different cloths. Thanks for sharing this video🫶🏼

What an excellent idea! ...and so very versatile. I know crochet. Often crocheted this for a quirky look on the edge of my pants / trouser legs, adding another round of clover motif on top.

Not to be mean, but does anyone else remember when Naomi Campbell got arrested for throwing the cel phone at her housekeeper because she was furious about her favorite jeans (can't recall exactly why she had the meltdown though) - and she wore the poncho to hide the handcuffs? I don't know why but crocheting the edge triggered that flashback. and, Yes that really happened. People need to start wearing Poncho's again. Great video, this.

А для чего нужно было делать предварительные обрезки ткани? Можно ведь сразу сложить в четыре слоя, и вырезать круг. Я бы сделала так.

I'm definitely doing this, though I'm probably going to do black fabric on one side and red and black plaid on the other. It only gets cold sometimes here in Southern California, so this is probably gonna be my number one item to wear this winter

I know it says it's a "no sew", but, instead of crocheting the edge, you could do a blanket stitch using embroidery thread. It would achieve a similar finish.🤷♀️

I have cheated and done the edging on the sewing machine, used a contracting thread and the biggest stich on the machine .
