the other side came off easy.. BUSTING those studs off is some BS... i was MAD i had to delete that footage i was cussing so much while taking the fender off..
@@eulaliolopezjr i gave you a shout out but i deleted it in editing because that project made me so mad.. i will do it in a future video.. i had to watch through a bunch of your vids.. but you show the most info.. i really appreciate that lowering video.. i feel sorry for the person that had to put those fenders on from the factory..

I wanted to put dually fenders on my truck until I watched this video . You're right; it is a little more complicated with all the parts. Finding a real one is hard to find under 1500. I found one for 2500, but he won't budge.
Hello ive watched a few of your videos and they have helpped. Im currently working on a s10 and ive converted it to a carburetor and i want all the old brittle wiri g out and to run all new wire for the truck. Ive wired the distributor, fuel, and start up. But i cant find any solid videos on how to wire in brake lights. Could you help a guy out?
your truck already has brake lights.. why would you want to rewire them? you would use the existing brake light switch anyway.. rewiring a vehicle is not a good thing to start doing...I had an 82 s10 when I was 14.. there is nothing wrong with the wiring on those trucks
The brake lights already dont work. A electrical fire fried alot of them together and it was one of the wires effected. Since i have a carb and no A/C or ecu i want to just run my own wires for everything instead of trying to pull a harness from a junkyard
ok.. that makes sense.. the brake lights are so easy it’s hard to make a video on them.. you have the switch on your brake pedal housing.. the 12v BAT (always hot) wire goes through that switch back to the brake tail lights. the pedal switch is your off/on ...
@@ryanwebster4534 yes, but hot wire goes through brake pedal switch that should be there.. you dont have to run a ground all the way to the tail lights. i have an AUTOMOTIVE GROUNDS video.. if maybe you dont know all about it.. im pretty sure they use ORANGE 16G for brake lights..

I have the same bed. I want to refurbish. I did not know you can disassemble the bed itself. Did you have to cut pinch welds? or is it all bolted?
there are two spot welds on the tailgate area where the floor meets the sides. the rest bolts together
Recently converted my 79 C30 dually into a single rear wheel with a flatbed to avoid those wheel flares that must have been a nightmare

you can.. if you can find some!!! there are just a bunch of parts you may not realize are there..
I already found some fiberglass fenders, but all I have is a fleetside long bed. So I just need to find a cutting template for it now😂

I have two wires. Ground the first wire, then the second wire, give it constant power, and wire it to the tail lights
