I've done a pocket like that but on a small scale for a clutch and boy is it a pain. The bag looks awesome btw, does "The Captain" suit the bag? Keep up the good work!

Why was the pocket gusset a nightmare?
Dudes! Just awkward stitching. Not enough room to maneuver the needle. It was in an awkward part of the panel. Just took longer than expected. Don’t get me wrong, totally doable but not fun. Even trying to line it up. Just not fun. 🤣
