New Orleans Travel Day: Room Tour Hyatt Regency, WW2 Museum, DDD Locations Surrey's and Mahony's

We are back and with a new travel series. Welcome to Day 1 travel day from DTW to MSY. It was a great flight. Some back and forth with the temperature but overall a good flight.
After landing, Melissa takes a Lyft over to Hyatt Regency. The conference she is attending takes place at that hotel. The Hyatt Regency is a beautiful hotel and very large. Stay tuned for a hotel tour video.
After a room tour, Melissa takes a Lyft over to Surrey's Cafe & Juice Bar. There was a bit of a wait being a Sunday, but after about 32 minutes, Melissa was sat. Melissa shows the menu and a bit of the inside of the building. Melissa had the banana pancake with pecans and a side of bacon. Melissa thought the pancake was amazing. Very large, fresh, and yummy. The bacon was very good as well. Melissa would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or lunch (not open for dinner). Surrey's was on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
After her yummy lunch, Melissa walks over to the WW2 Museum New Orleans. It was a quick and easy walk from Surrey's. Melissa thought this Museum was one of the best Melissa has ever experienced. Very large with lots to see and do. They have large scenes made to look like the terrain the soldiers would have experienced. There are lots of videos and audio recordings playing throughout the museum. Melissa normally puts in music during footage of museums but due to the audio in the museum, Melissa thought it would be more impactful to let that play. Trigger warning: there is plane sounds, information about concentration camps, images of weapons, and flashing lights in this section of the video. Melissa does suggest purchasing a ticket to the 4d movie they offer.
After the museum, Melissa takes a Lyft to her dinner location. Melissa experienced Mahony's Po-boys. This restaurant was on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. The staff were very friendly and the food was pretty good. Melissa would say to skip the onion straws, she didn't enjoy them much.
After dinner, Melissa heads back to the hotel and shares her thoughts on the museum, the food locations, and the travel day. Melissa had an accident while walking into Mahony's, and Melissa shares that experience. Be careful when walking the sidewalks of New Orleans.
