It has been her fractured fairy-tale for a while now - I'm happy to leave reality to her imagination.
I like to imagine this song as a continuation of the previous one "Confess". An ordinary woman was captured, accused of witchcraft, tortured. And now she takes on herself all imaginable sins. Like "Is that what you wanted to hear from me all this time, happy now?" Mockery, her last weapon.
I’ve thought exactly the same! When it hit me i was absolutely blown away. I don’t think I’ve heard anything like this. Where two songs from the same album tell the same story from different prospective
Zora has said that two songs on the album are connected, but never said which two... I think you've got that figured out.

Such a magnificent passive aggression. Likely, it's the most underrated piece from the album.
I haven't heard many people put it in the top spot but it does tend to be in the top three fairly often. It is really tough to choose with Blackbriar. Everything is good.
@@ctberchem7303 Yea, that's what I meant, people tend to not place it in the top spot while I believe it deserve a bit more recognition. Not that I would place it at the top. I am fairly unable to choose between seven pieces. The album is crazily awesome, I wholeheartedly adore it in whole.

Feminism is the sociocultural equivalent of electricity for science. It has transformed the world and broke women and men free from the shackles religious oppression had imposed. Now finally the human psyche can resume evolving. Find yourself a book on feminism my man. Don't sell yourself short. In today feminism, men have a critical role to play.

It's almost eerie that some days ago I started watching a tv-series called The Power (on Amazon Prime Video), which basically connects feminism and electricity. What a coincidence :)
