Love it. Thanks for sharing. The older you get, the shorter life feels, and the time you have gains value, because there’s not much of it.

I specifically remember one boring day when I was about 9 years old in the summer wishing it was winter. I'm pretty sure that day lasted 4 weeks before it was bedtime. Now? I blink and its over! lol

Well obviously I am gonna leave another overly long comment, and I apologize if this becomes annoying. I think this might be the most impactful video I've seen from you so far. To be fair, the comment that I left on the other video was geared more towards wanting to see more faith represented in your content, as well as expressing my own struggles with the idea of contributing to our screen addicted society. I wasn't really trying to say that you were wasting your time in practicing your craft the way you were. But I love your response, and it is super relevant to my life. Allowing the desire to make meaningful content to become an excuse for not making any content at all is something that I am certainly guilty of. In fact, I am the most guilty of this. When it comes to youtube content, the least impactful video that you make has a much greater impact than the most impactful video that I never actually get around to making.
I think it's clear that the things that you listed as time wasters are not actually a waste of time at all. But again, I am very guilty of postponing the things that matter because I feel like I don't have time for them. The idea that you have presented, of trusting that God has given me ample time to do the things He wants me to do is honestly ground breaking to me. I have noticed lately that much of my life has become focused on getting things done. Checking things off the list. Always trying to cram more into a day than I actually have time for. But in the end, this doesn't really seem to get me any closer to achieving my goals. And more often than not, I just end up feeling like a failure for not getting enough done. Living like there's no hurry seems to be a solution to this. And if I think about the life of Jesus, it seems that He regularly took time to rest, and pray, and wait. We don't read about Him running from place to place trying to get as much done as possible. So that certainly gives me something to think about.
Finally, I feel like this video perfectly exemplifies what I have felt was missing from your content. You are using your unique perspective to present biblical principles in a way that is relatable but not preachy. If I was not a Christian, I don't think I would be offended by this, and yet you are in no way hiding your faith. This is the kind of content I don't see anywhere else, and I hope to see more of it from you in the future. Though at the time of writing this comment, the video only has 8 views, so hopefully I'm not the only one who appreciates this. Thank you!

Thank-you for taking the time to write out this response Chrizzz! No its not annoying :) I apologize for the late reply on MY part. I'm glad you enjoyed it and were able to take something valuable way!
My goal has been to make more of these kinds of videos. I used to think that a healthy channel should have conssistant viewership across videos, ideally increasing over time... But one thing I recently realized was that isn't necessarily true. Most channels will have different kinds of content - each with different goals. My "cinematic beast" videos for example, are "top of funnel" - aimed at bringing the channel exposure to a wider audience. A small portion of those viewers will resonate with "deeper" content - like this video. Videos like this one are unlikely to find new audiences - and videos like "turn your z30 into a cinematic beast" are unlikely to to continue to inspire the viewers (like your self) who want to stick around and go deeper. Hopefully over time, I will get better at packaging each type to resonate with its intended audience!
That said, its easier to know that then to do it. 39 views isn't exactly motivating. BUT, I need to remind myself, that high views was never the goal of this video! And, I need to get better that this kind of video to - if I ever want to make more than camera hacks videos - which I very much do.

Bring people closer to God brings them closer to eternal life because that's what God is. That's the point. Without that nothing at all matters. It's all a dead end. We do have only one life but it's eternal. This world is just a pilgrimage. The Providence of God is His plan to draw us closer to Himself. That includes our bad times, in fact it specially includes our bad times

I’m the opposite. The less religion the better for me. You’ll have a wider reach.

Thanks for you honest feedback 19hertz. I get it - I'm not the biggest fan of content that openly clashes with my worldview ether. Faith is part my DNA, and for the same reason that some might not see as much of it as they want, others may see more than they wish also - because for me its all to integrated together to separate.
