Hey Coop. I live in Roi Et. I first came to Thailand in June 2008 on a R&R from Iraq. I made just about every mistake a farang could make. Yes, I was warned but it was just words and I thought I understood people so I went with my gut. Damn, did I have a lot to learn! I enjoy your videos and have been following you from the beginning. Everything you post is absolute truth!!! It's different if you come here as a single guy and not a couple but your information is relevant for anyone looking to not only visit but live here. I'm busy raising my two sons (8 &13) basically alone so there's not much free time to come down to Jomtien where I call home in the South. I'll get there one day soon I hope, but being 72 yrs old and feeling the effects of a life on the edge, time is the enemy. I say this to anyone who is seeing this post..... Listen to Coop, he will save you from yourself. This is Thailand and coming from any Western country you really don't understand Thai culture until you live it. Coop will educate you and help you survive and thrive here. Thanks Brother for all you do to help people you don't even know yet. God Bless!
DIY looks like a great place to get a bunch of little things for around the house. I was meaning to check out that market. Makro was just nuts today. Must be Chinese New Year coming. Like my Amazon coffee as well.
Thanks guys for taking us for a tour of the fruit market and Mr DIY. I've passed by Mr. DIY and thought it was more like a Home Depot but wow, it's much more. Will have to stop and check one out next time we are in Thailand.

Great u checked out that market and made an both entertaining as useful video about it. Call me a "socialist" gg (hell no wrong political direction) but I find it better to support local hard working people than purchasing at a multinational Megastore and funding a CEO s next huge paycheck....
