This is BAR NONE, my favorite arc in the show. Much like how internships took from the Sports Festival to identify your weaknesses, the Finals are checking if you overcame your weaknesses from internships. And each test is specifically designed to target said weaknesses and make sure there is no free loading. And EVERY detail matters. Pro heroes have ironed out their weaknesses in battle almost entirely if not completely. So each teacher is giving the students a specific way to win by confronting their weaknesses. (And contrary to the choice they were given of capture or running, the teacher always wants a specific one and will do anything to make it WAY harder for the wrong pick) And you might notice a few tests that are specifically more difficult for certain students. That’s because the teacher is targeting them specifically. (Take Midnight vs Sero and Mineta. Mineta is DEFINITELY the target) Whether it being from misbehaving…or receiving a backhanded punishment for needlessly fighting with Stain. And I won’t say which ones, but 2 of the 10 tests are specifically designed to be lost. I’ll talk about them when we get there. For now, I’ll talk about the 1st test. Cementoss vs Kirishima and Sato. This was a capture like they figured out. And there was no specific target. Cementoss didn’t move an inch that whole fight. And you may have noticed Cementoss left an opening to go around each wall, and giving them a maze to get through. And Kirishima was learning how to be a bit more open minded thinking with Fourth-Kind. And instead of running AROUND the walls, they didn’t just go through a few, they went through EVERY WALL on the way. And the moment they ran out of steam, Cementoss chose that EXACT moment to render them both unconscious in an instant. THAT is the attention to detail in this arc. I’ll gladly show how EACH test is structured.
And it gets more amazing with every episode. I've heard comments on saying the episodes go downhill at a certain point. But I don't see it. And as far as kacchan, his determination and confidence of his abilities are something to be admired.
fun fact : Midnight is actually right some heroes need clothes because they produce quirk powers throughout their bare skin , Mount lady wore clothes for sexual attention but Midnight and Momo use clothes that is easily ripped off to use their quirk on full power ...... Midnight have a quirk that allow her to produce some kind of a gas or fragrance that come out of her skin and make her enemies fall asleep , she rip off her clothes to spread the gas even farther also she use a fan around to defeat her enemies faster before she get hurt
Midnight is named the "R rated hero" because her first hero costume was too revealing. She even established a law regarding hero costumes declaring how much skin can be exposed.
