I recently bought my First BMW 😱Its a 320i Business line 2008 6 speed automatic navigation built in still figuring the car out... Simply amazing 😍. It does have 270.000 km on it. But man 😂 it drives 😍. Before it i owed a Jaguar X type 2.5 v6. 2007. I must say the Jag was a little more comfortable. But boring from the inside. Drove from my house in Holland to Hannover Germany with both cars. 4 hr drive. With the Jag 1 stop due to petrol. And BMW 2 stops, petrol and back problems . But i really love my 320i alot more fun than the Jag
Had any issues with the 4 banger motor on the 320i?

I’m liking the bmw for something fancy to drive have always been a Ford fan but wanting a smaller car maybe. Are the tyres expensive to buy?
Not too bad these days as the prices have come down a touch and cheaper brands are now available. Before it was only high end brands like Bridgestone, Michelin, continental etc. Now a few Chinese brands are making run flat tyres
@I_Seen_981 320i runs good for daily normal driving and overtaking etc.. it just enough power, but of course 330i is way faster. but 320i is enough. Also run flat are shit and only adds a lot of weight.

@@ivangeorgiev8694 with such a small engine it is. E9x is an old platform and also not that expensive to work on yourself. Lot’s of online forums/video’s about this car for free. I mean is it reliable? I guess that depends on what model you find lots of mileage is a bad idea. Ofcourse any bmw is not for everyone their first car because of money but if you look at it as an car enthausiast perspective I think it’s a good beginner car. Good handling, not to much power, you can really learn how to drive on these things. Ofcourse you have better options if you want more fun for the buck.

What kind of wheels are on the car, those are beautiful.
Those are just stock option 320 wheels, not sure if they have a specific name but they're a clean standard wheel.

That window open via ignition key button is featured in Alfa Romeo GT also.
Just purchased a 2007 320i yesterday with 27k km on it. Did not realize that it was a 4cylinder I'm used to thinking bmw got inline 6 like my e46 M3. But for the price i think it's a steal i got it for 2.2k usd here in Japan. I just needed a bigger car to replace my kei car.
This car will cost a little more than the average car (in Australia) to maintain and repair. As it has an electric waterpump, and the plastic timing chain guides are known to fail, and a few other things that will take the aussie mechanic a bit longer to figure out. Add to that, the audio uses a optic fibre network, and all of these things can fail at anytime. Be careful of timing chain rattle.
Im in canberra looking to buy 2008 320i are they reliable? Do you think its worth buying or steer clear? Thanks mate
