- We ventured back up to launch with Tripoli Cherryfield in downeast Maine for Memorial Day weekend. My buddy got his L2 certification in a Wildman Darkstar Extreme on an AT K695 Redline. I fly a Darkstar Jr on an AT I357 Blue Thunder. Then we drag race a Wildman 2.6" Intimidator and my Composite Warehouse 4" Pink Lady on an AT K550.
A couple UNH students also got their L1.
Thats pretty cool that you guys are still into rocketry together after being away from it. Soon your kids will be into it!

Another awesome video! Looks like it was a great day for launching and the new field looks a lot bigger than I thought it was. Really hoping I can make it to the June launch.
Thanks! As long as the wind is south east, or north west you could set up at either end of the field and have plenty of room.
My dream is to go to space, but since I can't do that (at least not yet) I just build and launch rockets. I love it! You're way more advance than I, but I'll get there yet!
That’s the spirit! It doesn’t happen overnight, I just like to make sure I try at least one new thing each launch to keep advancing. If I told myself last year I would be flying 54mm reloads in rockets with GPS off my own launch pad and making videos about it I’d be overwhelmed.

Awesome flights!! What GPS are you using? I just built an eggfinder, but finding a good GPS app is hard to find..
Just the regular old Featherweight. I’m an iOS guy anyways so I just pair the base station to an older iPhone. That’s my talking rocket phone, while I record on my newer phone.
Everyone in the club runs them too so the features like relaying lost rockets or sharing base stations would be very useful if we needed to utilize them.

Can you tell me where you got the pull pin switch you showed on your AV bay? I see labrat rocketry sells them but the online store is closed. Btw i like your videos! Great work man
Thank you! I did indeed get them from Lab Rat and I love them. Going on all my AV bays. He's just on vacation, and listed some temporary closures here:
