Great flight! wish we could do stuff like this in the UK. Currently getting my L1 and might try messing around with hybrids after, but i think thats as far as you can go without going into to liquid rockets for motor design. Keep up the great work!
You can release a helium filled balloon prior to launching rockets, it will give you a good idea of the winds at various altitudes. We used them in the military (Pi balls) to judge winds for airborne operations so you don't have to "find" Paratroopers/Equipment, I imagine it works the same for rockets.
