Just came here to say that you are marvelous! I do an "arting day" with an elderly woman i work with and every week we start by drinking a cup of coffee while watching your latest videos. It inspires us so much. Not only do you have great ideas but you are compelling to listen to. Your information is laid out so well and you are very relatable. Thank you so much for all your wonderful videos!!
Show us everything!! & I must admit- I absolutely love your videos, your voice(but not in a creepy way or put me to sleep kind of way) , your style , your rings and nail polish, everything! I watch your videos everyday, literally everyday. Anytime I’m gluing something, the only thing that i can think is ‘glue it down ‘ and I mean every single time haha anyways my suggestion is anything and everything! Sending much love from West Virginia ❤
I totally agree with you on everything. Her rings and nails are so pretty. I love when she does a silly voice but when I can’t sleep I totally run her videos. In a good way not that she bores me by any means. Her videos are the first ones I watch for inspiration.
I have used a system similar to this, and I put a piece of paper in each pocket folded up at the bottom then you can pull the paper up and with it comes all the scraps. Alot easier .
Nothing you do is ever boring, you are still the QUEEN, always👑 What a great idea you came up with...so organized, and looking good❗ YOU ARE SO FABULOUS, LOVE IT❤💓💕
These kinds of organizing videos always attract my attention. I think the reason you've been successful with your storage methods is that you are very honest where sefl-knowledge of your habits is concerned. Still, the best part of your videos is always your stream-of-consciousness narration. You are so open and willing to try, which is the secret to your creativity. Very inspiring, both creatively and organizing-wise. Pet Banjo from me. ~ Lisa
A little tip for you, when you're doing several of these, rather than cutting each one off, after your back stitch, carry on with the next sleeve, these can then be cut off when youve finished. Great organisation by the way, and i never knew you could take the sleeves out of the cover, so thankyou for that. Your ideas are amazing xxx
I’m soooo glad you love this project...as I do too!❤ Every time I open a drawer, a box, anything,... there’s always paper scrapes in it so this will help! Thanks!👍
Great system. You can also use binders for acrylic stamp sheets or stencils. However, I am finding them too slippery and hard to grasp and turn the pages. That may also be because I have nerve damage in my hands and wrists from typing for so many years. I’ve recently switched to using zippered pouches or envelopes that you could buy off Amazon. I’ve separated solids and patterned into large and medium envelopes for each. And the zippered pouch I have for the small scraps is huge obviously and I have both solids and patterns mixed. I have a lot of solids from the days that I scrap booked and used a lot of card stock. I never threw anything away. And that was almost 20 years ago.😂 I also keep a little pencil box next to my desk for the itty-bitty scraps that I use for embellishing index cards and playing cards. They’re easier to handle and I use them frequently and it prevents me from cutting up something new if I don’t have to. It’s also good for the little pieces of book page or music page that you need. so far it’s working. But needs and styles changed as you know. I love this video and I like the new ideas and it doesn’t inspire me to try something different.😊
Well done. Thinking out loud about your process is very helpful to many. I am in awe of your organization skills! I'm not sure if the folders would work for me because I need to SEE things or I forget about them. Flipping through the scraps jogs my memory and gives me ideas for another project. So I'll put those pieces on top. Labeling helps a lot, too. I have plastic drawers sitting in front of my workspace so all I have to do is look up. Wish I could post a photo. I would love to hear about what videos are next on your list. My ephemera is getting out of control! Kiss to Banjo.x
Yes, I love to see people's ideas of how to organize their supplies. I think I have a good system, but then I see more ideas and think they are even better.❤
Part of the fun of this hobby (for me it’s not a business) is organizing my stuff! I have small scraps in little baskets, large scraps in big plastic envelopes, sorted by “warm” and “cool” colors so I can just flip through quickly. I don’t have nearly as much as you, though, I would be frozen by indecision. I still enjoy watching other methods. ❤
Before you send items to the bin, maybe send out some “Happy Mail.” One woman’s trash is another woman’s treasure! 😂 I agree, with you, I go through my paper and say to myself, “What was I thinking?” 😅
Thanks! This inspired me to try some reorganizing of my Zentangle supplies. I’m always cutting down drawing paper and love to keep all the scraps for different small drawings, bookmarks, etc. Loved your thought process. You can also use the clear sheets you purchase, sew them and then put into three ring binders.
Good evening Natasha ❤❤, I thought you might me sorting papers this week. I've just bought some folders with plastic sleeves that are removable, from the Supermarket. Been sort out magazine images and made a big filing system for them thanks to our dear Shannon Green. Next I'll tackle my papers.📚💐🇦🇺💖💖💖ps, finally had a couple mm rain with the storms up here last night, but have a couple of fires too.💖
Great ideas! I just organized my scraps and emphemra in January. I was using the same system as you did with plastic sleeves and they kept falling out as you said. The other thing that didn't work for me was they were not visible, which I personally need. I have limited space. What I came up with was using 3 tray-type baskets from the Dollar Tree. One for large scraps, one for med., and one for small scraps. They all stack on top of each other and are visible. I also used a small tin bucket from the DollarTree for extra sm. Scraps. The other idea I do now is use a round tray in which I dump my smaller scraps, emphemra, and stickers on if I need to see a more spread out view. Saves time with decorating decisions. This works great especially because they are already sorted by categories and are easy to put right back where they belong, saves on clean up time. Hopefully this helps someone. TFS!!!
Yesterday, I finished organizing my stickers using your method! Brilliant. Now I tackle scraps because my current method is tossing them in a box and forgetting about them 😂. Thank you, Natasa! Great idea to alter the pockets!❤❤❤
Great system Natasa. When you were trying to figure out how to get your smaller scraps in without them falling to the bottom of the pocket, I kept saying “sew the bottom” and then you did. lol Thank you for sharing your ideas. ❤😊
I love the idea of sewing and making the compartments the way the size you want them. I was also wondering if you Declutter pieces for making projects maybe you could sort them into surprise boxes and sell them. Your followers absolutely adore you and love your aesthetic. Whatever you’ve outgrown, we might love to purchase.
Its interesting to me to see how people organise. There isn't one perfect system, it all comes down how you like to craft or do your art. Folders don't work for me because all the scraps become hidden. I need to see my scraps, so i have shallow trays/boxes which nest. They don't take up much space and i can see everything, i also use an old recipe box for medium size scraps, sorted by colour, because that's how i do my art, I'm very colour focused.
Use a circle punch on top of each binder page half of circle to be able to grab papers with ease. Just a thought while watching first few minutes. Thank you for sharing your fabulous ideas with us! Watching from south Louisiana, USA.
Love the organizing tips. And the file removal. I had no idea. I love all your papers and when they are all in the folders, we'll the pages make beautiful collage looking sheets...
Great ideas. When I see a post from you I always click 9n you! Love your voice, voice overs and humor! Love your dog and husbanator! Enjoyed and learned so much,so creative
When you brought your old folder back out and said you liked this better than the newer ones you had shown us, I thought to myself, “She’s going to sew sections into the plastic and organize by size.” Since I guessed, now I must do the same. 😂 Now, I think you should patent your idea! Great ideas, friend. Thanks for sharing!!!❤
TIP: It might help to put a few books to the left side of your sewing machine to support the part of your storage book that you are not sewing. It would take some pressure off.
I think I watched the "last" of your videos I had left unwatched about 5 mins ago so YAAAAAAY!! 😊😊😊😊 Also loving this series. Iv been organising too & this helps a lot!
Great ideas! It really got me thinking about how i can organize my scraps better. I would love to see how you organize your washi tapes to where you can see what you have and can get to them easily without digging through them looking for what you want. Thanks for sharing 😊
So fun to watch you, Natasha, in the morning with my coffee☕! Inspires me for my day😊! I love this scrap organizer idea. I need a new system for my ephemera pieces. I am currently using top loading photo sleeves (2 to a page) in a 3 ring binder, but the ephemera slips out of the top at times😏. Thanks for your wonderful ideas. Hugs❤ and love to Banjo🐶
If you put large elastic bands from top to bottom over each page, it will hold the pockets tight on both sides of the sleeves, keeping pieces in 4 pockets at a time. It doesn't need to be tight, just taut enough to keep pressure on the openings. Hope that helps.
I did exact same thing years ago, but it still drove me crazy. When I sealed the sections they were tighter to get into. Pockets started tearing and things still fell out. I’m still searching for a good system for scraps after 30 years of paper crafting lol
I have several very big harmonica maps. I don't know the size, but they are bigger than A4. I have organized them by color. Reparable when torn (paper). But i think some of these maps, devided in compartments would even make them better.
Great idea!! I didn't know those file folders opened like that!! 😂 I think I have a couple!! Now I have to look for them!! I think I would color code them. Most of mine are single sided.
Thank you, Natasha! This was very informative. Right now I keep all my scraps in organizer drawers all squished together and stuffed into each drawer, which, by the way, can't easily close now. You know what that means, I am not always using those important and pretty scraps, lol. I will look on Amazon for similar binders. Again, thank you 😊❤❤❤
This is interesting. However I found that I work better with clear plastic storage boxes for most things . I have them labeled for ease in locating what I am looking for. Then for the project I am working on I use a zipper top bag so things don't go flying. The boxes are lightweight and stack easily in the bin openings in my craft cabinet.
More organizing videos please! As you said, some ideas work better depending on how much space we have. In my case, binders seem to work the best, for now anyway! Blessings to you and your family.❤
This was awesome! I was riveted to the video! I've been using a series of various sizes of boxes and so far it works for me, b/c I don't sell my journals so I don't have nearly as much to organize. I do like your pockets for scraps though. Very well done. TFS🤗
I do use plastic sleeves, I need to try sewing them. I have to many scraps and it makes it bulky. Sewing compartments in, will alleviate some of the bulk. When I have to many, I remove half and donate them. It keeps it under control. I sort by Color and Type. I store them all in a bin right now, because the 3 ring binders are not big enough an they are constantly falling apart. I found that binding system, very interesting! I have never seen it before. ❤❤ it, keep sharing.
LOL, i’m thinking I’m much worse than you, bc all those tiny pieces…I’ve found have worked great underneath certain areas in scrapbook pages, or on cards, when I’m making them. So, I just can’t bring myself to part with them. 😂
That is a very good idea, you might want to add a notch on the top of each section to easily grab what is inside. The notch could be done with a round punch, half way in…just a suggestion
Great tips love it. I did something simular but sewed chipboard in each then used masking tape or washy tape on outer edge. Gave extra stability. I used they 3 ring binder and page protectors vs ones you used. I originally had the CM sticker album but like you it's huge and not great for desk
I see some house making with those left overs. I also feel the need to save every little scrap. I don’t know why but I’m trying to curb that and use them lol. Have an awesome day ❤
I don’t know if this has been mentioned or not. I recently organized my magazine fussy cut & pages I wanted to save. I used the full plastic sheets as you have. I also purchased the clear sleeves like that that are meant for baseball cards. With the small pockets, I can add things facing both directions in small amounts so it doesn’t get bulky. Good because I can see from both sides without having to dig through . Not so good if it falls or gets tipped things can fall out. The small bit fit fairly snug so it’s not too bad.
Let’s start sending our excess to others who are just beginning?! If you have the means and can’t organize or lack space (like me) we can begin to circulate to other’s by “happy mail”?! I have just put together my first box after going through my supplies and after a year of not using them, I want to send them on to a beginner who doesn’t know where to start and/or doesn’t have the funds to explore different styles. They can instead save for the tools while playing with my unused but loved stuff.

This is wonderful and SO helpful🥰 I would love to see how you organize your paper (full size pages), your tools, embellishments, and ephemera😍❤️
You're in luck - I'm already working on a video about organizing my full-size paper! 😍
Enjoying this with my morning coffee
That's the best way to enjoy it! 😁
I’m soooo glad you love this project...as I do too!❤

Natasha, I would love a follow up video on which organizational ideas worked and which ones didn’t so much. Thank you! You’re fab!

Love it ❤. I use a lot of binders for my storage! New ideas from you are great❤
I love using binders too, they're so versatile!
I didn't think I'd get into this series, but I couldn't stop watching the sticker one. Now transfixed with this one!
Ps, next organisation, ephemera or embellishments ❤❤❤
You betcha! Stay tuned! 😉

So inspiring AND therapeutic to watch! Thank you 🤠
All my scraps were in a box I organized them while I watched you.thanks for the inspiration ❤
Fabulous!❤❤❤
Thank you 🤗
And off I go to organize!! Thank you Natasa!! 🦋🇨🇦
Thank you Natasha. I keep my dyed papers in one box. I loved it and thanks for explaining the removal. ❤
I'm so glad you found it helpful!

When you use the circle punch use a piece of scrap card to help the punch not scrunch up the plastic. 💕💕💕
That is such a great idea! I'm going to try that!
Your ideas are so useful, this was one of my biggest problems, love it. Thanks for sharing, enjoy your day.
This is such a helpful and excellent video. Thank you so much Natasa.
Great suggestions!
Thanks so much! 😊
Love the organizing tips. And the file removal. I had no idea. I love all your papers and when they are all in the folders, we'll the pages make beautiful collage looking sheets...

Have fun!
So fun to watch you, Natasha, in the morning with my coffee☕! Inspires me for my day😊! I love this scrap organizer idea. I need a new system for my ephemera pieces. Che bello
Molto interessanti i nuovi video sull'organizzazione dei materiali😊
Thank you 🤗
This may have been mentioned, but try putting a piece of washi on the sewing machine to use as a guide to keep the stitches lined up.
I've got an empty ring binder full of plastic sheets. Now I know what I am going to use it for. Thank you.😊❤
I want to see how you organize all your dyed papers, 12×12 paper, etc. Sending love and gratitude!😊
Thank you for sharing ❤
Wow Natasia! These are wonderful ways to store scraps! You are a genius!😊
Thank you so much! 😄
I did exact same thing years ago, but it still drove me crazy. When I sealed the sections they were tighter to get into. Pockets started tearing and things still fell out. I’m still searching for a good system for scraps after 30 years of paper crafting lol
I totally understand, it is a never-ending quest! 😅
Love your silly voices! Great video.
lol “this comes from that colleccccction, and that goes with this collleccction…” Lolol love it!
Also I love the idea and will be trying it out
Brilliant idea Natasa. Thank you
Thank you so much!

Wow, what great ideas for all the scraps! I have heaps and heaps that has to be sorted out I guess someday ......
Conseil :commencez maintenant, un peu tous les jours, l’avenir est incertain. Surtout ne pas vouloir tout faire d’un coup.
You can do it! 😄
i love that concept, you come up with the best ideas, you would have a field day over here, organizing my stuff
Thanks so much! I think I'd be in heaven 😂
More organizing videos please! As you said, some ideas work better depending on how much space we have. In my case, binders seem to work the best, for now anyway! Blessings to you and your family.❤
Thank you! I'm already working on a few more episodes! 😊
And here is my algorithm comment:
Thank you for the explanations; they are very helpful.
➕➕ well done 💙💛
Glad it was helpful!
This was awesome! I was riveted to the video! I've been using a series of various sizes of boxes and so far it works for me, b/c I don't sell my journals so I don't have nearly as much to organize. I do like your pockets for scraps though. Very well done. TFS🤗

the red photo album your mom bought you is the type i use as a recipe card holder ... I'm still one of those people who have recipes written on cards.
I would dearly love to see what you do with your uncut papers next. I’m in the process of redoing mine. Thanks! 🩷🩷🩷🩷

I'm glad you found it helpful! 😊
Received your book. Loved the read and will be creating soon.
Thank you so much! I hope you love the projects 😊
Hi Natasa 👋
Perfect timing, just hopped into bed 😊
I hope you have sweet dreams about paper scraps!
LOL, i’m thinking I’m much worse than you, bc all those tiny pieces…I’ve found have worked great underneath certain areas in scrapbook pages, or on cards, when I’m making them. So, I just can’t bring myself to part with them. 😂
Fantastic ideas ❤
Thank you! 😊
I love this idea, thank you for sharing ❤. I love this series
Love this idea. Tfs Natasa. 💕
Thank you so much!
I'd love to see a video on ideas for storing stencils. I have a lot of them and no idea what to do with them.
I’ll add that to my list! 😊
@@TreasureBooks Thanks Natasha.
That is a very good idea, you might want to add a notch on the top of each section to easily grab what is inside. The notch could be done with a round punch, half way in…just a suggestion
Thank you so much for the suggestion! I'll definitely try that!
Great tips love it. I did something simular but sewed chipboard in each then used masking tape or washy tape on outer edge. Gave extra stability. I used they 3 ring binder and page protectors vs ones you used. I originally had the CM sticker album but like you it's huge and not great for desk
Thank you! That's a great idea! I may have to try that!
Your welcome and your videos are awesome i wait for them daily and watching all old ones too 😊@@TreasureBooks
I have trouble throwing away little pieces of paper, too. I appreciate your information.
I see some house making with those left overs.
I also feel the need to save every little scrap. I don’t know why but I’m trying to curb that and use them lol.
Have an awesome day ❤
Amazing idea! Bulky pages solved!
Yay, I'm so glad it helped! 😊
They can instead save for the tools while playing with my unused but loved stuff.
lovely idea
What a great idea! I love the concept of "happy mail" for beginners. 😊
All of my crafts supplies , projects, journals, blue books, smash books, burned in the Altadena/eaten fire. I'm heartbroken.
Hello,
Oh, you clever clever clever woman :D
I'm so glad it resonated with you! 😊
