Lovely stuff as always!! I did begin to attempt to set this up but ran out of time for my dig yesterday - I will come back to it soon! Subs are sky rocketing boys! Awesome work x
Morning gang! Have just finally set this up in my programmes ready for my hunt today that never happened due to rain! Looking forward to trying it out later in the week hopefully!! Have a great week
You'll have to let Dad know how you get on with it. He's also testing another program at the moment, but won't release it until he's confident that it's doing what he wants. It's the program hes used to find all of his silvers I think. Thank you as always for watching. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks for this.. I didn't like the look of the x/y screen.. don't know if I'd of dug that musket ball looking at how erratic it was.. it did sound good though.. And a great find 👍
Yeah the zoom was too high (on a 9 when I did this I think) I would use a 6 or a 7 now. Tend not to dig to the screen. I prefer the tones to any vdi, but it's there if you need clarification on bitty tones. Thanks again for watching 👍⭐🔥
@@GRIFFINds no I sold my simplex and my Explorer Pro to upgrade to a newer detector I'm not sure if I want to go with the Nox or Deus 2 or Orx so I'm watching a lot of videos on all three
@@oldpelon check out the Legend too. If you like your Simplex it's a good upgrade. For me, the only reason to to get a Deus 2 is the flexibility and the weight. The legend for the money is meant to be awesome. It's half the price of the Deus2, and 250quid cheaper than the Nox.
Thank you. Really informative tutorials and very helpful to my learning on my new D2. I’ve not finished all of them yet as I like to watch them a few times first. I’m wondering if you could advise me of a programme for a Neolithic area as It would be good to hopefully find something from the Iron Age 😊
Hi thanks for the lovely comment. Iron age stuff has normally already been absorbed into the ground. However, if there are still some remnants in the ground, and if I was special searching for iron I would use the Relic mode, and turn off the IAR, and remove all notches. That way the machine will pick up larger solid masses and iron in the ground at a deeper depth. It'll be really chatty and you'll be digging lots of false targets. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching.
Good question. I've increased the reactivity to 4 on my land, and reduced the silencer to 1 (sometimes I change the sensitivity too), but kept everything else the same.
Yes, you're correct. But for some reason they leave it on number 2 on Sensi ft. Been doing testing on the silencer over the past week, with surprising results. Video to follow 😉
hi guys, i just gave your programme a try today on an iron noisy field, for the first time ever my coil battery died after 5 hours. does this use lots of coil power?
Hiya, yes its base is the Deep HC which is the fastest draining land program, as it uses the lower FMF selection. If you want to use the park setting as the base, this will save battery, but won't be quite as deep. Thanks for watching, and let me know how you get on. 😁
@@GRIFFINds thanks, that's a relief i thought maybe my coil battery was failing early! no decent finds today, not a good field, i'll give it a test on a more productive field. cheers!
Hi, when I save a program to 20-24, afterwards the program location is displayed as P2. But correct would be P20 or P21, P22, P23, P24. Do you also have this problem? My update is V0.6
I just got my deus 2 today. Despite running disc at 7 and iron audio at 0, iron still sounds as loud as non ferrous targets. Not sure why I am still hearing iron.
@@kylefreemason normally iron comes in around the 10 I think. Let me know you get on. On the eco program the first tone break is at -6.4 but the second tone break is at 9 but has the same tone as the iron and is not controlled by the iron volume. So you will hear the iron on this program even though the iron volume is at 0. What I found is that if you drop in any discrimination up to let's say 9, then there is a chance it could mask any good nonferrous targets close to the iron. Hope this makes sense. Yes, good point. I wanted to show the signals on this field which on my Deus original were weak, so needed the zoom on 9. It seems I didn't need it on the D2. Lol. Too much power it seems.
Hi Man , it's just a copy of gary's sonar program for the deus1. i remember that Gary said that this program wasn't efficient on multi frequencies . i promise you to test it but i will probably change some settings. best regards
Please see the text in the video, it gives Gary credit for the foundation, but I've tweaked a few things to make it work for me on the MF. Been testing this for 2 weeks and it's found me some really good items amongst some really iron filled fields.
