I agree mate, I feel exactly the same about my Garrett 400i 😂 I don't understand why all manty owners are so amazed, and go on about it so much, every time they find something tiny 12 inches down, my humble machine regularly does that. To me, it looks like there's so much more than depth that makes the manty desirable, especially over my humble machine, but the depth deal alone wouldn't sell it to me. I mean maybe you do gain an inch, and face it, what man wouldn't say no to penetrating an extra inch 🤭, but there is a debunking video out there that shows that all manufacturers are bound by the same limiting technological factors by law, and there's an associated accusation made that more or less amounts to false advertising. I don't know if you've seen it, but if so, what you think about what's said. It's clearly a great machine, but I wonder if part of the raving is, in part at least, to justify the haughty price tag paid? What would I know though, I ride a noisy motorbike 😉😆

Hey Henry, nice video again, I have both the Manti and the D2, started on the D2 like yourself and then went CTX 3030 (to heavy) and then to Manti, All the points you mention on the D2 I do agree with, especially the connection and charging issues. But, I have to admit I still bust out the D2 every so often, with the Jethro programme. I used it on one of my recent videos and it did good for me, you really cant beat the weight if your having a long day 😁

Nice video! I, too, have both the Manticore and Deus 2 and like the Manti over the Deus. My downfall with the Deus is with the Frequency shift dropping targets when set to 0 vs 6. The things you spoke on in the video are the same as my likings with the Manticore. I'm still hoping for an update on the D2 to fix its problems, and how well it is with the new HF coil when it comes out.

Thanks Griff for the upload, had the manticore for a month coming from the Nox 800. Been out three times with the manti and found a full , cut half and a fragment lizzy of a quietish field. So not doing to bad, what I can say is I’m digging a lot more scrap at decent id’s, whether I’m doing something wrong or it’s just the way it is. How is everybody else signals on scrap and are you digging more? Still learning the machine and using similar settings to you and digger Dan.

Manticore all the way because of better quality finds just my point of view 👍🤔💯

Why do you idiots rub these coins. Do not rub the coins with your fingers. It leaves scratches all over the coin . Never rub a coin. It takes the value of the coin down considerably. Wash it in a bowl of soapy water by swishing it without using your fingers a very soft cloth or a soft tooth brush.

I would not notch out 1 to 4, i found coins at 2, ik you look at Merrils Manticore id bible some gold 14k rings come in at 4. Nice video tho

Ancient small gold can come in below 4...if you ground balance manually u can actually run the sensitivity higher...the stabiliser actually reduces depth and clarity of signal...ive had mine since last April and have found just about everything...far better than the Nox 800 i had for four years before, i tend to use sensitivity 26 or slightly higher if ground allows...the M9 coil is better in heavy iron and i use recovery 6 always....
