I bought one in January and strung it with Lynx Tour at 50lbs. Got injured before I got to play with it and tried it on my first hit back a couple weeks ago. Granted that the string job is old, I didn’t love the string setup but had a hard time faulting the racket, it’s super solid. Didn’t find the sweetspot huge thought. For my second set I switched to my prostock GPro and my is that racket easier to find the sweetspot with lol. I also owned an RS 300, and seeing the comments below I didn’t find the all that similar. Maybe feel is not too different, but the RS 300 is way easier to hit with and gives you a lot more spin and easy depth. The TF40 has quite a dense 16x19, kind of Radical-like
Very helpful I have three 18/20 ‘s older version may buy this one as I have a few issues with short balls also serve with not much spin. I like Solinco hyper g great feel comfort and control. Thanks great review
Thanks for the informative review. How would you compare the TF40 to the Wilson Ultra Tour/Pro (with some lead tape), especially regarding feel and power?
Good shout, this is more manoeuvrable and had a nicer feel in my opinion. I like plush feel however, the ezone tour is more crisp so if you like that feel go there. I would say more spin from this too.
Bought a pair of these but in 18x20 pattern. Very good playing sticks but have to agree the QC is a disappointment. My pair are almost 10g apart in static weight with very different balance. I had to lead them up but it's hit and miss so far as I don't have access to a swingweight machine.
You mention the reason for 305 better than 315 on the previous version is 315 has lower power for the previous version. What about the current TF 40 315 16*19? I haven't try the 305 but I have the current 315.
Great channel and reviews. Tempted by this TF40 but I've a funny feeling I'm going to find it too low power / control orientated due to the thin beam, low weight etc. Do you know what its like when leaded up?
with a leather grip it’s decent for me, coming from the speed mp with lead at 3&9, counterbalanced in the handle, the tf40 stock was a disaster, but after throwing on leather grip in the tf it’s amazing and doesn’t lack power for me
Hi, sure, the extreme tour has a touch more power, spin is actually similar in my view. This has much nicer feel, plush and more connected. This is more comfortable too. Hope that helps.
Recently tried 95 n 98 inch rakets with 6 strings in throat and loved it... rakets with tight pattern in middle dont play nice if not perfectly hit in middle....looking at new prestige 95 16x19, vcore95 and the Iga......the vcore98 head shape is like a pear and only plays nice at top of raket....i would like a raket to play similar at 2n10 as it does at 4n8
@@domneu7 i have it along with new vcore98...theyre good but i tested vcore95 n like it and realised i like 6 strings in hoop in a 95 n 98....but vcore98 sucked on flat shots but vcore95 was good with almost same head shape...
I got two of them. One 302, with SW 311. Feels very flimsy and twisting. Another is 308, sw unknown, but very HH. Tecnifibre’s quality is just disaster. I added weight at 3&9 and at 12 too. Sw jumped to 319 but it feels a bit unbalanced now. I love it anyways as I have little more power than with Blade v8 and lot more spin.
Sounds like the cat is going to town on that scratching board. Prince, Dunlop and TF all make really under-appreciated rackets, people need to get off the Big 4 brands and experiment in my opinion. Curious about these great reviews of Artengo rackets; I just bought a fantastic pair of Artengo shoes (TS500's?) for a measly $58 USD! I feel like I just hacked the shoe market, cushioning through the roof and very light.

I got the 315, I can’t recommend it enough, Im coming from a strike to RF to this, feels like I finally found home
Have you tried Blade v8?
@@villiam7941 yes I love it

Thanks for the review! How does it compare to the TFight 300RS? The specification is kind of similar, especially as your TF40 came under spec.
Long time Prestige player...I'm switching to this. Cheers!
Nice review. I'm curious to know how this racquet compares to the Extreme Tour seeing that the specs of both these racquets are a bit similar

They seem very different tbh
@@Nopanop What differences did you find between extreme tour and TF40 ?
Can't wait for the next reviews!!
What grip size did you use? The 4 3/8 feels small to me in technifibre but measuring it, it’s the same as a Wilson 4 3/8😳🤦🏼♂️

Did you like the TF40 or the Blade 16x19 more? Thanks!
I’m a blade user and I like Blade more. But I play with Ff40 as it’s easier to win with it :)
how does it compare to the TFight 300?
How does it compare with the Iga tempo? I hit with alot of topspin and extreme western forehand grip. . Which is better? Which one is better over all?
How's it as compared to Blade V8 16*19? Is it too similar?
Do you prefer this racquet or the Synergy 98 you recently reviewed? If so, why?

How would you customize the TF40?
Hi Andy, how would you compare these racket to boom pro and pure strike 98 16x19 3rd gen ?
Thanks
Are you switching to this as your main stick?
Can you please compare this to the Extreme Tour?

Maybe Ezone 98? In my opinion bigger sweetspot than vcore but 8 strings in the throat

How does it compare to iga?
Hi, have not hit the iga much yet but I will now adopt that for a few weeks and then review and report back 👍
Any comparison with the Iga?
