In my reactions, I show you my initial reaction (or fangirling) to music videos/songs. I sometimes also comment about technical aspects, or the production of the video if anything such stands out to me. I am not trying to delve into meanings, I only want to share my initial thoughts and explain how I think they achieved things and why, in my personal opinion, they work or don't work.

“NCT are not predictable” they always, legit always go outside the box for their title tracks and they make it work. You never know what they could be doing for the next comeback. They are very, but very unique in the kpop industry. They put out songs that are different which other groups are afraid to try. You can genuinely tell their team puts so much thought into what they are going to release. this has such an SM vibe to it, the uniqueness.

i feel like it's the opposite for me -- the chorus is the most boring part of it for me! tbh i hated it at first but the more i listened the more sticker grew on me until the only word i can use to describe it is 'bop' haha. a lot of people think lemonade should have been the title track and yeah it is a more traditionally catchy kpop song and in any other boy group it probably would have been the perfect title track, but nct has always been at least a little experimental with their title tracks, and the fact that there's so little instrumental in this song just makes their own voices shine that much more.
I'm not really into boygroups but NCT 127 really grabbed my attention

stiker is a take on vegas rhinestone cowboys (the last I've concert the boys played one of the last concerts in America was for 62800 texans at the houston rodeo. THIS a kpop homage to spaghetti western themes. You didn't get it.

The funny thing is that in the live version the instrumental is a little lower and their voices are louder so it's basically a vocal song with an accompanying instrumental.
I don't think you're alone in your feeling, though. This is probably one of their most divisive songs. In my case, I love it. I think it's mostly because I'm used to them doing unexpected things, lol. Also, I kinda like disjointed, experimental songs. SM is known for that. That's also why Red Velvet are my favorite girl group, because they rarely play it safe (Queendom is pretty safe but their other b-sides are fire).
