Honestly, this seems to work considering the premise of X DiVE.
I'm pretty sure the charged beam is meant to represent Gregar like how the feather attack represents Falzar. The beam even uses the same sound effect from its boss fight in BN6. The difference here is that the attack is neither a flame or electric breath.
It could be, it could be not.
But I definitely heard Falzar Cybeast screech when releasing the Charged Shot though 🤔
@@lazysaiya Yeah, ignoring the width, it's very similar to falzar's breath attack as boss and tengu beast breath attack in addition to falzar's cry there, maybe saving gregar for another megaman.exe, like the super cybeast megaman.exe from the manga, heck or even grezar cross fusion megaman.
@@lazysaiya I guess DiVE Cross is really themed around Falzar then. Just as Chaos Ezel said above me, maybe they're saving Gregar for another EXE variant.
I still hope they will make Cross Fusion Beast Rockman EXE appear in the game, which I believe as the strongest form of Rockman in EXE series.

I'm glad they dialed it back a bit he looks better than the dive suits with spikes and other ornaments all over them.

From what i see he is quite solid zoner characters at 5* that stun firepower and skill spam. I wonder how strong he is in raid

My guess is they planned on adding Gregar and Falzar Beast, but EOS was coming up, so they decided to slap the skills of Falzar Beast onto the DiVE Form they made for MegaMan.EXE that they didn't want to waste.

Man I hoping I can get colonel exe one day. But I love how many exe characters are in the game. Best franchise out of the megaman for me.

Now Classic MegaMan, Megaman Volnutt and Star force MegaMan need a dive form then all 5 Megaman incarnations will have a dive mode.

@@ivaldi13 If I'm interested in a new game, I like to see what my favorite game reviewers think about it. I don't go out calculating how many gameplay hours I'm going to get out of it. Same mindset behind coming to a XDiVE character review. I'm not just here to find the character with the biggest numbers, I want a character that's versatile, fun, and feels good to play, and I tend to agree with Saiya's takes after ranking characters up.
@@jojikujo Okay, but you're ignoring the times in which those reviews were posted. Powercreep is a thing.
DMM.EXE came out before SBass. He may've been great for his time, enough to be *good enough* for a while with DNA, but he's not on the same playing field as later units. He's also a primarily PVP-focused unit, not good elsewhere.
BXX came out just after the good HW units last year, and well before Deicide's Will. He got away with sometimes pulling a cheeky one-shot (or close to that) for a while, but the HW units, other ranged maniacs, and SBass already outperformed him in his own era, and even they can't compete now. DNA didn't help him, and he was only ever a PVP unit, so he's likewise now comparatively useless.
DCMM.EXE, meanwhile, is competing with, in no particular order, ViA, Erato, DAZ, DAA, Bancho Sigma, Sukeban Erato, BCMM, Egg Roll, SBass, Nana, even GAX may see a resurgence in PVP with a certain weapon in the future, even the new MH chars are pretty solid generalists . . . and not finding any game mode in which he stands out very well. *He is, however, still a fantastic generalist when compared to most older chars.*
See what I'm saying, here? You can't just take Saiya's reviews in a vacuum; they're tailored to the current metagame, and we don't just mean the PVP sweaty tryhard meta.
You're free to do what you want, and favoritism trumps effectiveness, but if you are trying to suss out good char-pulling advice, as your initial comment suggests, an honest answer would be something along the lines of, "Pull for them if they're faves, otherwise just save for now and 25k a better capsule later." Just trying to help you out.

I love anything EXE related, but he only seems decent at 5 stars from what I've seen.

He is still good for PvP at the very least but have to take note that he struggles a bit at close range fights
