Thanks for all the work you went through to put this series out. Very helpful as my group is planning for an Aug 1 start date this year, DR650s and a KTM 690.
I appreciate that you discuss the hard times and the decisions to just take a break and go for a detour or a hotel when it makes the most sense. We did the same on our GCDR trip.
Thanks I really appreciate it; I’m super glad we made the decision to just take a break and not tackle Beaver Rim that same day, it turned out to be a major section that would have absolutely drained us, especially when wet. I also really enjoy the 701, it’s be perfect bike in my opinion for these types of trips. This will become especially true in episode 7&8
What month did you do the trip? Also, in your intro, where is that rocky hill you're going down at? Liking the content! After the Wyoming stuff, I'll be checking out your other vids.
Thanks! That rocky section is actually the hard part of Black Bear Pass in Colorado (Telluride). The WYBDR trip started on the first of August. Feel free to check out other videos but this was my first real series on bike trips - I’m planning to ride the full Continental Divide trail this summer and will publish the trip afterwards
I was the Louis Lake ranger at one time. Good to see the old turf again. Thanks. Good video.

Glad you’re liking it! We also started Aug 1 last year, have fun - it’s a real adventure!
SWEET drone footage!! Well done!
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it! Check out episode 7 for my favorite drone shots (Renner Wildlife Area)

What bags are you running on the front of your bike?
It’s the Giant Loop Buckn’ Roll Tank Bag with the Pannier pockets
