Amazing damage but Saint John is an amazing place with wonderful people. It WILL come back as beautiful as ever. My thoughts and prayers with all the residents and visitors. In Puerto Rico, we are doing all kinds of efforts to assist you with first need items such as basic food, first aid kits and clothing -for those who lost everything-.
Hi Jon, My name is Ashley Morgan and I'm working on a music video for Republic Records benefitting Hurricane relief efforts for Irma, Maria, and Harvey. I am wondering if we can use this footage in our video? I am private messaging you now as well with my contact info - please let me know, thanks!
It is amazing how these lush green islands are now so brown. Our weather report just last night showed that via an earth satellite shot of the islands. It showed how they were green and now they are brown. So sad but I know eventually they will get back to what they were.
jon has more videos that cover basically the entire island except the east end. watch them sequentially and you should see the area you want to.lots of crushed buildings. Concordia looks like Godzilla stomped its entire property down into the ground. we will be a long time putting St John back together.
It looks like in some areas, the large second, massive homes survived well, like in Great Cruz Bay and Chocolate Hole? And unfortunately some businesses and livelihoods did not far so well.

Will you be posting any of the Coral Bay area? St John?
Me too, there is hardly any video if any at all of Coral Bay and the people there are totally cut off.
Why are the hills brown? Is all of the vegetation blown off. I remember st. John very green.
Yes- the storm ripped the leaves off of the trees
You guessed it. The trees and plants that remain have all lost their leaves/vegetation due to the winds. Another horribly sad aspect of this disaster.
