I think it's sad that some farm animals on small farms are befriended by their keeper and sent off to be slaughtered and come back not looking like the farmers friend anymore.. The animal would know it had been tricked and betrayed by it's keeper at time of slaughter.
Ahh this lad is a nice human, at least his mind is open ❤ let's hope he can move on from the dreadful atrocities taking place in meat and dairy industries.
Something I would have loved to see mentioned here is the all or nothing approach that a lot of people seem to take when it comes to citing medical reasons. There are a few legit medical reasons which make it necessary for a person to consume animal products (many medications contain them) - but then people will use it as a justification to eat meat and milk and eggs every single day. I'm not a fan of arguing about people's health conditions and how to deal with them, I'm not a health professional. But even respecting that, people can still do their best to avoid any additional, unnecessary animal exploitation.
I think you know that when people say "i need to consume animal products for health reason" they do not mean that their medication has elements that come from animals.. i have genuinely never ever heard or seen a single person refer to their medication that way, only their feeding habits
Specifically when it comes to medication, if you need it, and there's no practically possible alternative, you need it. That's why no one eats 100% plants. That's just silly talk that non vegan people will throw around to "debunk" veganism. Reduce the suffering that your actions can cause as much as you can. That means not eating animal products ofc, but in terms of medication, you do the best that you can really. Technology is evolving, so hopefully we will have more and more medication that isn't tested on animals, and doesn't contain animal products. There's a lot of those already out there, but we hope for more.
@@soniaiboyako4023 I've seen it, albeit rarely. The point is that even if his claim were true, it wouldn't hold as a justification to consume even more animal products unnecessarily. That's bad reasoning and I think it's a good thing if we get people to think about what is and isn't a necessity.

I think it depends on the condition, I'm type 1 diabetic so I'm already limited to what I can eat. High carbs like rice, pasta, potato's, bread etc, spike my blood sugar so I tend to avoid them. Animal products like milk, eggs and meat do not do this, so I will continue to eat them.

Unfortunately I think a lot of people just do as their told without thinking or looking into things themselves, especially when doctors tell them what they should do. Doctors also unfortunately eat just as much animal products as the patients their treating and study very little about nutrition. For anyone who is interested in learning more about nutrition and health check out some of my favourite vegan doctors on UA-cam: Dr. Neal Barnard, Dr. Michael Klaper, Dr. John McDougall and Dr. Garth Davis.
Another great source is dr. Peter Rogers, if you're interested in getting a healthy dose of biochemistry in your lectures. He does an awesome job explaining WHY something is bad, especially on a cellular level. I only watch his nutrition videos though.
He thought he had a legit excuse, got shut down in 30 seconds.
A doctor telling you that you need to eat meat isn't a legitimate excuse to eat meat? It's amazing that vegans have so much empathy for animals yet none for other human beings.
@@MasterMoron Oh right? A non existent condition? By the way my Dr told me I had to F your wife, how's your empathy?
Great conversation! Thanks for raising awareness for animals and being so knowledgeable:)
Ban Slaughter
Surely you don't want to ban the pesticide holocaust, you need to eat vegetables 🤷
@@jimmyobrien8738 Thats something completely different.
@@WhyAreWeHere2023 so it's not slaughter 🤔
@@jimmyobrien8738oh it’s you again. Have you learned where most of the grain we grow go?
@@jimmyobrien8738 protecting your crops is necessary. Insects literally destroy these crops. Veganism is not about completely stopping all animal deaths, because that is simply impossible. Veganism is about minimizing animal harm. Mass murdering billions of animals each year for the most unnecessary reason (taste) is what we are trying to stop. When "crop deaths" are able to be avoided, that route will be taken of course. But right now, it is literally impossible.
Joey is a legend, I do want to meet him and I hope that dude goes vegan ❤
Nice imagination you've got there, that dude is just like eight billion Carnist living worldwide, and he doesn't give a FU***********K 🖕🖕🖕🖕 about Veganism 💩
He probably didn’t and won’t go vegan. Most people quit Veganism. 84%

Great video! What app/website was used for the B12 calculations? :)

I almost cried when that person gave them chocolate, like thst was so sweet.
I with this is how more vegans interacted, instead of arguing over minuscule things
Great video Joey. You are just great
nice work!!💙💚💙🌱
Big kudos to you Joey. This was a really good one. Nicely explained to trigger his thinking in a non-threatening way by a nice guy who’s doing what he’s told by the ‘experts’ ~ like many do, without doing further research. Great job! ❤️😊🙏
Everytime I watch your videos my heart can't help but feel incredibly grateful for what you're doing. You're a true blessing to this whole world ❤❤❤
Oh boy I gotta to think it’s interactions like at the end that make it all worthwhile! Beautiful!
we love you so much Joey!!! I really aspire to be a good voice for the animals.
Dinner plates 🍽️ across the globe are increasingly dominated by deliiiiiiiiiiiiciouuuuuuuuus animal meat products every minute, and it's soooooo gooooooooooooooooooooooood 😊
@@SirEdmundAllenby5787 ok and does something become moral to do just because you derive pleasure from it?
I love this use of the Socratic method starting at around the 4 minute mark. Asking why he himself is out there is brilliant.
The B12 supplement I take is 500 micrograms. Roughly 20,000% of your daily need, or 200 days worth. If you're body doesn't absorb B12 properly, as happens a lot in the elderly, they have a drop that goes under your tongue. My mom's supplement was 5000 micrograms...Or 200,000% of her daily need, 2000 days worth.
Any doctor saying you need to eat "1 microgram of B12 from animal products" just doesn't know basic science.
Awesome Joey ❤Thank you!!
Does all nooch in the UK contain B12? Cause in Germany it doesn't. It has to be fortified.
This is an important detail many miss. Not all nooch is created equal...
Please don't listen to medical doctors for nutritional advice, go to a nutritionist, or even better a dietitian.
Thank you Joey for protecting these voiceless victims and educating us on veganism. You're a real guardian.
I am 5 years vegan and so my girlfriend, my family and most of my friends made the change. Grazie from Italy
Hi Joey! May I ask what you think of a vegan keto diet? I'm considering that for my health and I read that ketosis is actually our natural state and that it's much healthier for the body. I'm trying to cut out sugar completely and eat so few carbs that my body stays in ketosis. Also, I believe, as we know that fasting is so beneficial for our body, surely ketosis, which is very similar, would be healthy too.
I was wondering what you think about it.
I'm laughing out loud.
Doctors often don't know much when it comes to nutrition. Medications, sure. At least in the states.
Resepct to my man with the Vego for Joey
Reasons I won’t go vegan: choline, riboflavin, heme iron, b-12(bioavailable kind), creatine and a few others lol
Vegans will have all the response for you such as eat loads of supplements, eat variety and lots of plants. 😅
More dumbdumbs in the comments.
Psst...look up the difference between essential and nonessential amino acids. Ffs.
Carnosine, taurine, dha/epa, ALA, Vitamin K2, Vit. A,
@@sebk174
Carnosine: synthesized by the body using carnosine synthase from the amino acids L-histidine and beta-alanine.
Taurine: is made by the body from cysteine.
DHA/EPA/ALA: Algae, seaweed, flax seeds, help seeds, Chia seeds, walnuts, and brussel sprouts.
Vitamin K2: Natto, kombucha, sauerkraut, tempeh, and kimchi
Vitamin A: Carrots, sweet potatoes, dried apricots, kale, cantaloupe, butternut squash, spinach, red peppers, papaya and tomatoes.
Again, you don't even know the difference between essential and non-essential fatty acids. I don't think you should be advising anyone on human nutrition.
Some of my funniest arguements with anti-vegans have been the 'My health requires it" and "I have such and such disease." They fall apart the easiest. Health evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of plant based eating.
chris from the beginning is a legend
FYI, MyKind makes amazing vegan b12 sprays. One quick & yummy spray in the mouth and your covered. It’s that simple.
He needs another so called doctor 😂
What an excellent conversation!

Joey, what can I say to someone who says they will not go vegan because of the studies showing a loss of bone mass density ?
Oestrogen in cows milk can make your bones denser as well as reducing test and increasing risks of cancer
Do you want denser bones at that cost ?
Just go vegan and stay active for the bone density…
Nothing. You’re not qualified to argue otherwise.
@@residentjess ? It’s studies based on random vegans without planned diet
Ask them to show the studies, they're flawed. You'll see a rise of loss of bone mass especially in the countries that consume the most dairy.
@@Sweeney-nn2hy True, if they want to become really healthy they'd go organic low fat whole foods plant exclusive. Vegan is only about who you DON"T eat.
Yo them chocolates at the start, you can get them from Holland + Barrett - SO GOOD!
"I need it for health reasons" : VD and B12 - the easiest, most common things to supplement 🔥😅
Yeah, you only need to go out in the sun a few minutes a day and stay far away from antibiotics that kill beneficial bacteria in your gut.
Does one need permission from the city to set up a table on the street or on a mall like this and film vegan outreach?
Very encouraging video, we need this! 🌿🌿🦋🦋😊😊
Much love to Joey
Lol sharing this!
Great video. There's actually almost no B12 in the soil anymore and then in turn the animals that eat plants. Animal ag has to give their livestock B12 supplements just like we can take on our own. B12 comes from bacteria and not animals
I think it's sad that some farm animals on small farms are befriended by their keeper and sent off to be slaughtered and come back not looking like the farmers friend anymore.. The animal would know it had been tricked and betrayed by it's keeper at time of slaughter.
Thanks Joey!
I have a medical condition, ..."Whats it called"? ... I don't know. lol
Ahh this lad is a nice human, at least his mind is open ❤ let's hope he can move on from the dreadful atrocities taking place in meat and dairy industries.
Hi Chris, Maria and Miguel o/
Great job Joey 👍
I thought it would be more complex than this. B12 tho. So stupid
He has to eat meat for b12 but doesnt know how much he needs or gets.
Beautiful! 🩷
Veganism is an ethical stance against all cruelty to animals. It’s that simple and it’s not a diet.
Thank you Joey
Talk about the weakest cop-out.
heating eliminates b12 anyway, so meat doesnt realy help at all
Kids alright, just naive, his matrix moment is coming
Is there vegan cinnabon?
Cinnabon does not have any vegan options however there are a lot of vegan cinnamon roll recipes online and some cinnamon rolls in stores are vegan.
lol the way people just be lying 😂😂
Very reasonable and intelligent conversation!
A conversation where one is vegan and argues for veganism can by default not be intelligent.

@@triptripp1873 Doctors like Jethro Kloss and Max Gerson were healing cancer and all sorts of illnesses in the 1920s with a whole foods plant based diet and herbal medicine. This was before pharma started patenting chemicals that were copied and synthesized from plants. There's no need to take any allopathic drugs derived from animal parts and vivisection, they all have alternatives that actually heal instead of poison.
