Many nuts and vegetables contain enough protein to meet this nutritional requirement, so plant-based diets provide adequate protein for human health.* *There is no credible science that equates a plant-based diet with protein deficiency. Moreover, we are not facing a kwashiorkor epidemic among vegans or anyone else in developed and developing nations, but we are facing both diseases and chronic health problems associated with the consumption of excess protein. It is also noteworthy that people have been thriving on a plant-based diet throughout history, and more people are choosing to do so every year without suffering from a protein deficiency. Other factors being equal, vegans have been and continue to be at least as healthy as their peers in this regard.* 🔺 *What most people don't realize is that the animals they are eating are really just middlemen, since the majority of these animals get their protein from plants, where all protein [amino acids] originates. In fact, most of the largest and strongest animals on the planet, like elephants, rhinos, horses, and gorillas are herbivores.* 🔺 *Vitamin B12:* *VITAMIN B12 (cobalamin) was only DISCOVERED in 1948. This vitamin is PRODUCED ONLY by MICROORGANISMS (bacteria). It is often claimed that the ONLY NATURAL SOURCE of VITAMIN B12 is ANIMAL PRODUCTS, which is ABSOLUTELY FALSE. However, this VITAL NUTRIENT is ALWAYS PRODUCED by MICROORGANISMS and OCCURS EVERYWHERE in NATURE - in the SOIL, in feces, on DIRTY PLANTS and in CONTAMINATED water.* *While it is true that B12 is not produced by plants, it is also not produced by animals. Rather, B12 is the byproduct of a specific bacterial fermentation that thrives in soil, some fermented plant matter, dead flesh and the guts of animals. Fortunately, this bacteria is easily mass-produced for human consumption now, and many foods are fortified with it, so there is no need to eat animals in order to receive sufficient B12.* *It is a common misconception that B12 comes from the flesh of animals. However, the truth is far more complex. For instance, ruminant mammals like cows and sheep have stomachs with multiple chambers, and these are excellent growing environments for the bacteria that make B12. Equally important are the grasses these animals eat straight from the soil, which is another primary source of this nutrient. Taken together, the stomachs of ruminant mammals and the soil in the vegetation they eat provide them with the B12 their bodies need. In humans, however, B12 grows in the large intestine, which is located beneath the ileum where it is absorbed. Further, most of us are unwilling to eat unwashed produce, so we do not receive sufficient B12 from the soil. This leaves us with a choice. We can either consume the flesh of dead animals, which contains the B12 the animal has absorbed and is itself another medium for the growth of this bacteria, or we can supplement with B12. Interestingly, factory-farmed animals are regularly fed B12 supplements for various reasons, so it is logical to conclude that we could simply take a B12 supplement as well rather than passing it through the body of a non-human animal first.*

I’ve been vegan for 2 years, eating about 20% plant-based. A vegan lifestyle is healthy and easily sustainable as long as you don’t completely eliminate animal products.
There are so many reasons to boycott animal products! 1-Your own health (vegans are less likely to get the most common chronic, deadly diseases) 2-Helping to end animal agriculture would reduce the chance of another pandemic & other zoonotic diseases 3-Helping to end animal ag would reduce the chance of the development of an antibiotic resistant pathogen. 4-Animal ag wastes a huge amount of fresh water. Each vegan saves 219,000 gallons of water every year! 5-Animal ag is a major cause of water pollution 6-Animal ag is a major cause of deforestation 7-Animal ag increases PTSD and spousal abuse in the people who work in slaughterhouses. Workers in meat packing facilities often endure terrible, dangerous working conditions. 8-Animal ag is a major cause of the loss of habitat and biodiversity 9-Needless killing of innocent, sentient beings cannot be ethically justified. 10- It is the single most effective way for each of us to fight climate change and environmental degradation. 11- Longer lifespan. 12- Healthier weight (vegans were the only dietary group in the Adventist Studies that had an average BMI in the recommended range.) 13- A healthy plant based diet significantly reduces the chances of ED later in life, and even 1 meal can improve bedroom performance 14- Vegetarians and vegans have lower rates of dementia later in life 15- A plant based diet could save money! You could reduce your food budget by one third! 16-A fully plant based diet improves the immune system according to a study published in the journal BMJ Nutrition Prevention & Health 17-A fully plant based food system would greatly reduce food borne illnesses like salmonella 18-A fully plant based food system would be able to feed millions more people. Our population is growing! 19-A fully plant based food system would save 13,000 lives a year from the air pollution caused by animal agriculture, according to a study 20- A vegan world would save 8 million human lives a year, and $1.5 trillion in climate-related costs (Oxford Study) 21- Ending commercial fishing would eliminate a huge amount of plastic pollution in the ocean. The discarded plastic nets also kill animals in the ocean who get trapped in them. 22- Commercial fishing is a direct attack on biodiversity. 23- "Fishing boats that trawl the ocean floor release as much carbon dioxide as the entire aviation industry, according to a groundbreaking study."-The Guardian Links for some of these are at my channel under "About." Meat eaters live to be the oldest in age next to a few vegetarians, while not a single vegan can live to be the oldest person to live. Meat eaters also have the highest life expectancy far above any malnourished vegan. There are Zero reasons to be vegan when the only way to survive is to eat meat. No sane human would die young for animals like chickens, pigs, fish, lobsters, and many more that eat other animals. Those who talk about ´survival of the fittest´ have never read the actual theory of Darwin. Darwin didn´t mean the circle of domination. He just meant that some animals are better at fitting in the environment than others. It has nothing to do with domination...
Now, compare Lior (hope that is how it is spelled) to some of the people from previous videos. Some of them where around his age and some, shamefully, older than him yet behaved worse than a rude child would.
That isn't what "survival of the fittest" means in evolutionary terms. It just means that those that evolve to best fit (adapt) to their environment have the best chance of survival.
Well done in educating him. Jewish and Moslem slaughter don't cause instant unconsciousness. The vertebral arteries remain intact and supply a limited amount of blood to the brain, and blood vessels in the brain seal themselves to slow the blood loss. The victims can remain conscious and in agony for many seconds. Up to a minute. Blood can flow into their lungs and they can't cough it up because of the damage done to nerves and muscles. Let's hope the lad changes.
The agony is something only victims can experience. Words can't describe it. A victim of female circumcision once described very vividly the terror and extreme pain she felt. It's worse for these animals.

Technically it is the production and procurement of the flesh and secretions and all the exploitation, abuse and murder that it involves that is morally wrong, and that obviously includes the purchasing of said"products"as it is that demand that further drives the continuation of the atrocity. Actually consuming it is just revolting ,repugnant and totally unnecessary,as are all animal products.
It'd be really interesting to know how many there are who "watch all your videos' and then carry on but just saying sorry now & then... I think it's a lot more than you think...
Is this staged? We've all been told endlessly by the stalker trolls that meat eaters feel nothing when they see what actually happens to animals. If not staged it appears that many every day people that eat animals do feel guilty when their eyes are opened to reality.
You know why we feel nothing? Because the majority know the cruelty is staged. Activists will get footage anywhere they can and however they can even if it means doing the opposite to their moral values, because money is money. Not about the animals. And think I’m crazy, well I’ve been down a reddit sub about this, and even PETA kill thousands of healthy animals in their care every year. So yea, that’s why we don’t care about this cruelty propaganda anymore. I just ask the farmers if I want to know about animal welfare.
Nobody feels guilty, M. If they did, they wouldn't do it anymore. To feel guilty, you have to have done something wrong. Why would any living being feel guilty about eating their species specific diet? Dazzle me with your acumen, my war dodging friend...
Not when people are exploiting them, but it's not something one can control. Being born with empathy that developed throughout childhood is difficult in this world where most people switched their empathy off or (made it so they only have "empathy" as long as it benefits them) when they were young. ^
If we dont allow this to happen to animals, it will be much harder for the world to do it to humans. Because we will notice when something is wrong when we are not drenched in wrong doings on our plate every day. One will more easily notice a rape vibe in a moral society in comparison to a crime in a world war of animal rape that we exist within right now.

Meat and dairy were 100% important for human thriving because we didn’t have consistent access to the countless plants we can eat today. That doesn’t mean an animal-based diet is healthier today. You must be joking. Clearly, to any sensible person willing to do a little observation, rational thinking and research, the physiology of a human isn't designed for eating and digestion of meat, unlike that of a true carnivore, such as a lion.
@@markj7612 I agree. Biologists classify humans as omnivores based on observed behavior in the majority, and the fact that we can digest both plants and animals. Our ancestors had to eat whatever they could get a hold of to survive long enough to reproduce. That included bugs, the equivalent of road kill, and sometimes other humans. Just because we can digest something, doesn't mean we should. Fortunately, most of us today can be more selective. We can eat a diet which is better for our health, longevity, our environment, and our fellow Earthlings- a fully plant based diet centered around whole foods. Animals in the wild have to eat each other. We do not
@@markj7612 I ran, WF dietary tests & 9mo of very low, animal/plant was far worse than moderate, animal/plant. Found out only after deciding to "go vegan". Seed oils, sugar & processed foods appear to cause health issues, rather than animal products.. but if ethics override the sacrifice.. have at it! I'll continue to observe.
Well said, thanks. I would only add that the human digestive system is not designed to properly digest meat, with the consequence that meat in the system greatly increases the chances of getting a range of diseases, including colon cancer. Unlike true carnivores, humans do not have powerful digestive fluids to rapidly break down meat, nor short intestines for rapid elimination of meat (six ft. in a carnivore, vs 32 feet in a human0. Meat begins to rot in the human digestive system before it's eliminated. As well, human teeth are designed for mastication of fruits, nuts, greens, etc., whereas carnivore teeth are designed for tearing flesh. Carnivores do not masticate, but swallow chunks of flesh whole, and they're able to digest those chunks. One needs only common sense to see the differences between humans and true carnivores.@@someguy2135

*PROTEIN:*
*Humans need for about 6% of their diet to be comprised of protein, though most doctors recommend 9% just to be sure. Many nuts and vegetables contain enough protein to meet this nutritional requirement, so plant-based diets provide adequate protein for human health.*
*There is no credible science that equates a plant-based diet with protein deficiency. Other factors being equal, vegans have been and continue to be at least as healthy as their peers in this regard.*
🔺 *What most people don't realize is that the animals they are eating are really just middlemen, since the majority of these animals get their protein from plants, where all protein [amino acids] originates. In fact, most of the largest and strongest animals on the planet, like elephants, rhinos, horses, and gorillas are herbivores.* 🔺
*Vitamin B12:*
*VITAMIN B12 (cobalamin) was only DISCOVERED in 1948. This vitamin is PRODUCED ONLY by MICROORGANISMS (bacteria). It is often claimed that the ONLY NATURAL SOURCE of VITAMIN B12 is ANIMAL PRODUCTS, which is ABSOLUTELY FALSE. However, this VITAL NUTRIENT is ALWAYS PRODUCED by MICROORGANISMS and OCCURS EVERYWHERE in NATURE - in the SOIL, in feces, on DIRTY PLANTS and in CONTAMINATED water.*
*While it is true that B12 is not produced by plants, it is also not produced by animals. Rather, B12 is the byproduct of a specific bacterial fermentation that thrives in soil, some fermented plant matter, dead flesh and the guts of animals. Fortunately, this bacteria is easily mass-produced for human consumption now, and many foods are fortified with it, so there is no need to eat animals in order to receive sufficient B12.*
*It is a common misconception that B12 comes from the flesh of animals.

1-Your own health (vegans are less likely to get the most common chronic, deadly diseases)
2-Helping to end animal agriculture would reduce the chance of another pandemic & other zoonotic diseases
3-Helping to end animal ag would reduce the chance of the development of an antibiotic resistant pathogen.
4-Animal ag wastes a huge amount of fresh water. Each vegan saves 219,000 gallons of water every year!
5-Animal ag is a major cause of water pollution
6-Animal ag is a major cause of deforestation
7-Animal ag increases PTSD and spousal abuse in the people who work in slaughterhouses. Workers in meat packing facilities often endure terrible, dangerous working conditions.
8-Animal ag is a major cause of the loss of habitat and biodiversity
9-Needless killing of innocent, sentient beings cannot be ethically justified.
10- It is the single most effective way for each of us to fight climate change and environmental degradation.
11- Longer lifespan.
12- Healthier weight (vegans were the only dietary group in the Adventist Studies that had an average BMI in the recommended range.)
13- A healthy plant based diet significantly reduces the chances of ED later in life, and even 1 meal can improve bedroom performance
14- Vegetarians and vegans have lower rates of dementia later in life
15- A plant based diet could save money! You could reduce your food budget by one third!
16-A fully plant based diet improves the immune system according to a study published in the journal BMJ Nutrition Prevention & Health
17-A fully plant based food system would greatly reduce food borne illnesses like salmonella
18-A fully plant based food system would be able to feed millions more people. Our population is growing!
19-A fully plant based food system would save 13,000 lives a year from the air pollution caused by animal agriculture, according to a study
20- A vegan world would save 8 million human lives a year, and $1.5 trillion in climate-related costs (Oxford Study)
21- Ending commercial fishing would eliminate a huge amount of plastic pollution in the ocean. The discarded plastic nets also kill animals in the ocean who get trapped in them.
22- Commercial fishing is a direct attack on biodiversity.
23- "Fishing boats that trawl the ocean floor release as much carbon dioxide as the entire aviation industry, according to a groundbreaking study."-The Guardian

Technically it is the production and procurement of the flesh and secretions and all the exploitation, abuse and murder that it involves that is morally wrong, and that obviously includes the purchasing of said"products"as it is that demand that further drives the continuation of the atrocity. Is this staged? We've all been told endlessly by the stalker trolls that meat eaters feel nothing when they see what actually happens to animals. If not staged it appears that many every day people that eat animals do feel guilty when their eyes are opened to reality.
If not staged, then animal slaughter across the globe should be reduced by now 😊, oops that was just an imagination 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think that’s why most of us went vegan. You can only deny reality and assuage your guilt for so long.
Why staged? Of course most people feel guilty when confronted with reality. Most people aren’t psychopaths.
I don't always like being vegan either. However, the power differential is even more disturbing.
You don't like caring about animals?
Not when people are exploiting them, but it's not something one can control. Being born with empathy that developed throughout childhood is difficult in this world where most people switched their empathy off or (made it so they only have "empathy" as long as it benefits them) when they were young. ^
Great action! I can see he cares and hope the will go vegan soon
If people's natural instincts worked, they would never have to make arguments about what they should eat or not. It's a health issue, not a moral.
“As long as man continues to be the ruthless destroyer of lower living beings he will never know health or peace. For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other.”-Pythagoras
Most of the non vegan arguments are “it tastes really good” but I’ve not heard anyone talk to joey about how a meat and animal based diet is by far the healthiest for the human body. We’ve only thrived this long because of meat and dairy and if you think otherwise you’ve been lied to
Meat and dairy were 100% important for human thriving because we didn’t have consistent access to the countless plants we can eat today.

@@Killa_Zman20Can you blame anyone if they use this argument? Most people didn't think even 1 second how the food comes into their plate or believed stupid things until someone explains it to them. Before I went vegan I also thought cows produce milk because.. they're cows and humans want milk, that's it. I believed that until I saw a random slaughterhouse footage and later on watched some videos about industry practices.
@@marius0448 yeah I believed those things too. It was guys like Joey who inspired me to become vegan with his videos like this educating the masses.
Would he say that all the dog and human cadavers go to waste because we don't eat them?
They are edible, after all!
It’s actually an excellent argument because it is easy to counter and it does make kind of sense until you engage with the supply and demand position. I always thought that the animal has already died and failed to think about those that had yet to be slaughtered to take the place of that piece of meat let alone the ones yet to be bred into existence.
I think the supply and demand point is the best one when you are talking with someone of above average intelligence.
Lovely boy!
3:08 😂 it’s obvious at this point this is going to take a looooong time.
Tikkun Olam ✌🏾
it’s respectful to look at someone when they’re talking to you
Exactly what I was thinking too.
I noticed that too, wonder what/who he was looking at?
@@rebelvgan4579 I'm not even sure he was looking at anyone, seemed to be some sort of learned behaviour where he felt he was superior or something haha.
Respectful in speech, tone and attitude is more important than mere eye contact. For some Asian cultures, it's not necessarily respectful to look into elders' eyes, depending the situation.
@@lauratanln yeah no, it has a name, it’s insecurity and the feeling of not liking when someone is telling you you’re wrong but you know that you are

For the bugs bro….not 🤦🏼
Nice guy but he may need an update soon.

Meat is in the supermarket because it’s part of the food supply… with no meat we have a supply shortage and starvation
800 million are already starving, Bry. The 83 billion animals slaughtered each year only provide 18% of worldwide calories. Studies show that we could feed the entire world using a quarter of the land. But you know this...all that matters to you is losing your primary source of income.
@@annoyingbutmorallyconsistent does that actually make sense. 75% of the land is used for animal agriculture. So humans already have 25% for veggies… according to your math
❤
Why can that kid not look at you? I found that really weird.
he can't look the truth in the eyes
I quit veganism cos I’m not bothered
I wonder if he will start grazing in the fields now.
Good stuff bro

😅
I believe we try to be.
Because the animal might have a few seconds of pain before death, even though they are killed humanly 99% of the time in abattoirs.

Why he is keep distrubing meat eaters like bro just let them do what they want
He's showing people what they are paying for. Why don't you want people to see what happens?
Rapist must not be allowed to rape.
The kid sat down lol. Non vegans are the only ones physically forcing anything, the animals. Your choice has a victim lol I wouldn’t see you making this argument for puppy kickers or pedos.
Vegan rhymes with Weaken
Am all fore ending factory farming and returning to the small family farms where things are much different then the factory farms But using animel
Products is just fine with me
And im not turing vegan
Correct. Better treatment of animals actually improves quality of meat.
There's a reason factory farming started in the first place. Small family farms could no longer keep up with demand. Currently 77% of all agricultural land is dedicated to animal ag and that only gives us 18% of worldwide calories. How much more would you like to take over?
Spot on!
