I just can't think of any adequate descriptive words to describe Frida's heavenly voice of an angel! No matter what she sings, it just knocks my socks off and sends me to another world. Not to mention her dazzling eyes and beautiful smile. Frida has it all, and has never let it go to her head, as it happens to so many 'stars'. An amazing, exceptionally talented and beautiful woman in every aspect.
Frida has a very expressive- voice- issues. A very beautiful and a very pretty Lady. I'm sorry she has lost her daughter. Frida's singing is very popular, she is a world famous celebrity and has a lot's of lovers. I 🍒💋love Frida and Agnetha very much.

This was a fantastic solo album by Anni-Frid which didn't get the recognition it so deserved. There are some powerful excellent songs on the album that given better air play and media coverage would have been monstrous hits. Thanks for posting :-)
This got lots of attention. Frida & Phil Collins. Howvcanbyiu forget. It was a big deal. ABBA was still active and Frida hooking up with Phil Collins.
A TV special was made on the making of the album.
Frida had an intl hit with "Somethings Going On" Lots of MTV. Great album.
This album was a critical and commercial success.
@@danbike9 Yes, it was a big hit. The best-selling solo effort by any ABBA member, as a matter of fact. But Markfretwell still has a point: this album could have had such a longer run on the charts than it did. It faded away after the first single did so well.

Hard to beat Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Do you understand the kind of reputation she has among singers and musicians? Ask Jon Lord of Deep Purple. He is gone now but he is on record gushing over Frida's vocal talent.
She has stacks of Best Vocalist awards too include National Best Vocalist she won in 1967.
She was child prodigy. Her teachers noticed her vocal abilities in grade school.
The ABBA songwriters, Benny & Born and their engineer, Michael Tretow, considered Frida a master vocalist. ABBA had a vocal weapon with Frida.
Maria (RIP) & Frida were friends
Maria sang on Frida's 1996 album.

This is a very nice song that soon grows on you Jim. There's a haunting feeling about it, with Frida's lower pitched voice. It seems to be about a broken heart, there's plenty of nice pics here to show how close Frida and Benny were. Amazing how the 2 relationships followed such similar paths!

Love this song and performance. Her debut English album was perhaps too lowkey for the banging, synth-heavy early 80s, but it contains so many wonderful songs... Always wondered what she's singing in the chorus, though. Is it simply wordless humming ?

+EdwinMaruriFILM It's about a lament to a lost love (or lover) but at the same time looking at the positive side. Instead of being the heartbroken woman left behind, the singer wonders how they could be now an attraction to a new suitor.
