Hm.. 🤔 Agnetha was pregnant here in 1977(full of fire of life and enthusiasm) and it is no wonder that her face, her eyes, her smile shine so magnificently here! - a little white lamb with blue, large, sparkling eyes and an innocent, angelic smile..
God, how can I describe those eyes of hers - of an intelligent, deeply thoughtful gaze(a wistful and mystically) that speaks louder than words, but keep silent about much more ..
A misunderstood artistic soul, "the girl with golden hair" and a divine voice - she touched the hearts of all of us - with her looks, her priceless talent, her overall kind demeanor and her extraordinary kindness and humanity😟💋
God bless you Abba!
This might be one of the sweetest, most heartfelt most catchy anthems ever created. This may be a perfect song in so many ways, and I wish everyone could hear it as many times as I have. An absolute masterpiece. Thanks ABBA for the music, now and always.
It's a brilliant piece of Swedish music history

No it isn't. My mother tongue is Swedish. We had the 4 th strongest airforce in the world during the 60s to the 80s. 1000 planes in sevice. Operating from many roadbases.
@@MegaGronis Swedes are generally very good English speakers, especially while singing. But back in ABBA's day was very impressive what they did. Dunno why you brought up the airforce, but yeah.. it was a gargantuan project for a small population. Sweden had the benefit of being mostly untouched by WW2 and was one of the biggest economies in the world after the war. To this day the swedish military industrial complex is the most important export sector in Sweden. It's always in the top 3 yearly income of all exports to this day. #1 several times in the past 24 years.

@@kencrystal6763I’m mostly a classic rock fan but I discovered them about a month ago and they’re so great
What's amazing about ABBA is that every single song that they ever recorded was either written or co-written by Andersson and Ulvaeus. That makes Benny and Bjorn one of the greatest ever songwriting teams in the history of music. And they weren't just composers; they also produced many of their recordings. And they wrote most of their lyrics in English, which is a foreign language to them. And the ladies helped with arrangments too on top of being incredible singers and performers. Such an incredible collection of talent in four people. ABBA forever.
II was a teen in that decade. It was a marvelous time to be alive among these most talented persons. Adba’s music is monumental! !
Not quite but they are up there. Like many great music writers they wrote stuff that most people don’t know about.
@@beagle7622 That's true for all bands that ever existed, universal. ABBA has varied and interesting melodic pop hook songwriting talent that wasunmatched in it's constency in that era. They had fanbases in countries where the Beatles was unknown to the majority of people. Without a doubt an contender of best writers in their era, in my opinion many many times superior songwriting to than anything Beatles, Beach Boys, released.
Both of these bands were influences to B&B in Abba, but Björn & Benny wrote superior songs, and It's so obvious today 40ish years later, when we have bands complete discographies availble to us at any time. Obvious when you take the time to marathon listen and compare:) t. Björn & Bennyhad the advantage of time and having these influences from USA & UK to draw influence/ideas from, and improve upon. Conjuring Swedish pop hook sorcery.

Likewise...their music is timeless and I am glad I can hear them Live in Avatars whatever :)
My grandmother was a huge fan and that has been passed down to my dad and then to me. I honestly tear up when i hear this song because i feel like i actually knew her. (she lived across the USA from me so i never got to know her before she passed due partially to my mother not wanting my father to take me out of state, let alone the east coast.)
ABBAabba
I loved ABBA from the first time I heard them. My one regret is that when they came to USA that l didn't go to the concert. Noone knew that they would never come back.
I Love ABBA So Much and The Song I can sing it just like Agnetha, I am lucky I can sing have sung since I was 4 😍❤️
ABBA are the kings and queens of real true pop music
Thank you so much, Agnetha, Ann-Fryd, Benny and Björn, for your amazing music, resisting gloriously to the test of time, and giving us such great songs that will surely linger on as one of the best mankind has ever produced! Thank you!
You said it all and so Right ON! Simply the best Exuberant Melancholy music ever produced! And Evan, may you have a great Day!
Can't listen to a single song of theirs without crying
We thank you for your music. Even after 40 years ABBA songs are making us happy.
I genuinely get chills when I hear this song, it’s such a beautifully composed piece. I envy being able to hear this on the radio at the height of ABBA’s fame, yet I’m thankful I can listen to it over and over without owning a vinyl. A beautiful song
my fav band of all time ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
lmao concerts back then was so calm
1970s: No one gettin murdered here
2016: someone has been murdered after a concert

"THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC, THE SONGS I'M SINGING, THANKS FOR ALL THE JOY THEY'RE BRINGING. WHO CAN LIVE WITHOUT IT, I ASK IN ALL HONESTY, WHAT WOULD LIFE BE WITHOUT A SONG OR A DANCE, WHAT ARE WE? SO I SAY THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC FOR GIVING IT TO ME" - music can touch your soul
Good time
@@milindpotdar9913 Good time: wishing you the same. By the way I like your youtube name

Ya ruski no mne len menyat yazik
Even when Agnetha was pregnant she sang with so heartily
Such smooth silky memory the first time I heard this song decades ago!
I hated Abba when they first came out, thinking their music was juvenile euro-pop meant for kids. It's taken years, but now their music seems timeless. It's always a comforting pleasure when one of these classic songs comes on the radio, like someone handing you a mug of hot cocoa on a chilly morning.
Incredibly captivating. They came, drove the music world crazy and disappeared
it’s kind of ironic how this was the perception of abba, and now the comments of abba songs are full of people criticising modern music for the same reasons. why can’t we just let people listen to what they want, sigh
Ah! Now you know that you've reached that state of mind that Quakers call 'peace at the center'. Welcome.
@@chloe-qs7ue people forget have a choice to either like or dislike music, but ABBA were brilliant in their day, and the music hasn't dated
I was the same because my mam would not shut up about it, and my opinion about it became really salty when they made the first Mama Mia film with Meryl Streep since that film was a pile of shit. However the more I listened to it, I warmed up to it and enjoyed the second film a lot.
Thank you, Abba, for your wonderful, uplifting music.
Have you noticed how each of the four emits a high quality of "character" in their every video? No matter the song, the venue, the costumes, or anything else, each of the four performs happily and unselfishly to enhance the performance of the other three. ABBA defines not only an unequaled musical talent, ABBA has four individuals, each with a top-notch measure of character. Thank you, A.B.B.A.. and thank you for the music.
Janett,,Thank you for your 'Right On' Comment! You are extremely Correct! The Best Exuberant Melancholy music ever produced!
ABBA FOREVER!🌞

Their compositions are really something else. Such original, beautiful and absolutely addictive melodies that is like an itch you can't scratch until you hear it again.
