1:46 You have to move the wood below for each hole, when you hit the damaged surface with hole number 2 you will get tearout. But nice build, I will try to make one for my granddaughter who is arriving soon.
@@DeneF That's interesting. Here in the US 'mobiles' hang from the ceiling or the side of a crib over the baby in their crib. And I think they're for looking at rather than grabbing.
@@bytesizedengineering You are probably correct cus. I am a typical man and I am known for getting the names of most things wrong, just ask the wife. Lol. Our kids are all grown up now and it's grandkids time. So it's been a long time. Blame me for being dense (probably). Lol. Either way it's a great thing you have made there. Pat yourself on the back and enjoy watching your progeny enjoying your skills born from love. Well done cus. :-).
Thanks! I don't have anything available at the moment. I do sell plans for other things I've built on my website. I just never had enough interest in this project to offer plans.
Awww the cutest cutie ever! I'm talking about your baby daughter. Isn't she adorable? Nice project. Great dad she has.
Thanks! I'm pretty biased but I think she's pretty darn cute
@@bytesizedengineering You bet she is. Enjoy! They grow up too fast. I myself have two, one is 25 and the other 20. It's been a great experience.

Cool design! Man, she is getting big fast!
I found a picture online that inspired the design. I have some ways I'd like to improve the joinery.
I love the design. Spindle sander lol.
I'M inspired...now i only need a CNC machine to make it for me and ill just glue sand and assemble it ;-)
You are an awesome dad!
I'm loving every minute of it!
Great build!
Thanks Jake!
How thick is the wood?
Baby Gym. Never heard of it called that before. Looks great though. Thanks.
Thanks! What do you call these things? I didn't know what they were called.
@@bytesizedengineering Here in England they are called a 'mobile'. Silly name in its self though (if you ask me.

Neat design. Do you have the printable templates anywhere? Can't seem to find them through links so I figured I would ask.

Interested in the kits. Second video and loving your channel.
I haven't received a ton of interest from people wanting this as a kit. I may consider though. Thanks for responding!
Maybe you should have added tenons to the arcs middle for strengh. That design is not well though, it should have a way to interlock those pieces...
It's pretty strong as it is now. I have some design ideas to create stronger joints
The wooden beads appear to be too small and should be considered a choking risk.
The string is passed through all parts. It would be impossible to choke on. I appreciate your concern.
You can go to woodprix if you would like to make it yourself guys.
