We absolutely love when today's younger generation sees the value in making a toy for their children (or nephew) instead of buying some expensive electronic toys. Great job! Looking forward to the other animals you make.

Awesome Kevin. That is what I have had to do in many cases is just use what is available. Sometimes it takes a little longer but it works just the same. 👍

Amazing finish without using a band saw like most☺ Been wanting to get a jigsaw to cut hardwood toys, haven't had much luck with the coping saw so far. Do you have any tips on using a jigsaw properly or which to grab???? I keep hearing jigsaw not good for hardwood🤷‍♂️

I know this is a year old but my local Home Depot sell small hardwood labeled as "hobby wood" Ive been to 4 around my area and all carry walnut, poplar and oak, but some carry maple and birch as well. A tad pricy but for those of us struggling with small workshop we cant buy huge pieces of wood from local lumber yard due to space🥲 Hope this helps!😬
