Eddie Cantor is one of my favorites and these routines and skits are wonderful.. He was a great mensch as well as a great entertainer. I especially enjoyed the last skit. Most people today know Ann Davis from her role as the housekeeper on the Brady Bunch television show, but she was a wonderful comedian before appearing in that show. Eddie helped a lot of people in their show business careers such as Dinah Shore, to name one, along with Ann Davis.

Fantastic! What a collection! Priceless! Thank You So Much! Every song was hiding in my brain. What a delight it was to hear those songs again. I don't think I had ever seen the video's before. WOW!!!

The scene with Eddie singing in the mirror is 40 years ahead of its time in film production

That kind of special effect goes back to the 1900's and is very elementary for the 50s. Look up George Melies.

I have loved watching Edde Cantor since I was 9 in 1964 watching the Eddie Cantor Story every night for a week on the Million Dollar Movie. The best part for me is when he sings to the empty seat thinking of his grandmother.

Looks like the segments cover a 55 year span. Can see his younger face, Then some with some aging. But he's great. I find myself laughing at his jokes. he must have been a real natural.

"THE EDDIE CANTOR COMEDY THEATRE"- filmed in 1954 and '55, and syndicated during 1955-'56 by ZIV Television. 38 half-hours were produced, and widely seen in its original run, with dozens of regional sponsors {various breweries were among the most prominent, followed by dairies, oil companies, department stores, jewelry stores and the like}. It ended when Eddie decided he wasn't up to appearing for another season {his heart condition was a factor}.

I am guessing most of what i have seen so far (1/2 way through) this is all before he had his 1st heart attack.
