My first time wild camping in my new hot tent. With calm weather forecast I headed out in my Intex K2 Explorer kayak to the Island of Inchmoan and 'Honeymoon Bay' in the Loch Lomond National Park. It was a great opportunity to get to grips with my new Wild Wild West titanium wood burning stove and Fltom tepee tent.

I've done a Loch Lomond, Loch Katrine and all the way to Callander with an over night on Loch Katrine. Stunning.
I'll be spending more nights on the islands and I'll be checking out Inchmoan.

That looked epic Andy. The island looked idyllic and the views utterly stunning. I was up Ben Vorlich Saturday...... total slogfest, but it was a most stunning Nov day. Did you see the seaplane around 2pm? Amazing. Hot tenting and canoe combo looks stupendously good mate. ATB 👍
I did, flew over the island as did that big military chopper too, it would have been a fine day on Vorlich too I'm sure. Atb A

That looked idilic Andy, a braw place to camp. Hot tent looks cracking, would be good in the middle of winter in the Cairngorms or something. Seeing your steak was making me hungry. 🤤

i saw x 3 red squirrels near the moors of the durhams dales, almost as if someone came and dropped a bunch of them off, i mean, why were they on a tree-less moor? hiding in the bracken
Stunning stuff mate. I've always fancied a hot tent, but I don't think I'd give it much use after the first couple of times. Great video though mate. 👌👍

Very inspiring sir! I'm debating making an ammo stove to save cost. Can I ask what the dimensions of your stove are? Hoping this might fit me 6"4 and two littles for next year
