- Watch a fully pimped up Hero XPulse 200 2V with a big bore kit keep up with a Hero XPulse 200 4V on the twisties of the Himalayan Expressway. Nothing too crazy, but still a fairly fast ride.
This is part 3 of Day 1 of our Spiti Ride 2022, on which there are two Hero XPulse and two Royal Enfield Interceptors.
The full series can be watched on this playlist (videos will be added every third day): • Spiti 2022 XPulse Ride
Let me know in the comments below what you think of this video.
As always, have a great day.
Cheers
Wow this looks so amazing. Thanks for letting us peek!🔥
More to come.
I love these kind of ride videos just raw riding
Good that you have not added any of background music (sound track) and kept a raw bike roar only. Enjoying real trip
It's more fun to ride slow motorcycle faster than fast motorcycle slower, may be cliché but it's true loved your riding and adventure
Yeah, I believe that too. Anyway, Indian roads are no place to ride a fast bike fast!
True very true, being able to push the bike to the limit
Yudhvir definitely has his weight and his expertise in his favour.. even I was 20kgs lighter than today in 2016.. lockdown and desk job has taken the toll..now I'm 98kgs 😭😭😭 hopefully like you, I'll get fit again 👍👍👍
Yeah, man. He's pretty fit and a sharp rider. I can only dream of getting fit now, it seems.
@@abhinavbhatt go for it if your schedule allows you time for it. Losing weight is the best weight reduction you can do on a motorcycle!
its okay to enjoy weight sometimes, and i must say your journalism experience adds more to your vlogs, seriously get to learn alot. You can also teach beginners, may be an online crash course. we would love to attend.
True. Cheapest way too!
Naah, man. This is my escape from journalism. I just want to enjoy my time on a bike.
Those rear view mirrors look awesome... Could you please share the purchase link?

😊really enjoy ur videos.. 👌👍... Happy riding bro.
Thank you.
You inspire me sir.. 🙏
Nice to see your video again... Hope xpulse doesn't give you much trouble this time. I thought you wouldn't do this type of ride on this bike?
which top rack is Yudhvir using on his bike? can you show us in a different video?
It is Zana's.
@@abhinavbhatt thanks brother 👍
Turely said about the sunroof and kids onto it .. ✌️
Hello Avinab sir... could you tell me how is the performance, comfort and safety of these Royal Enfield Vamos globes that you are wearing as I am eyeing them... Love from Assam
Arre, they are just lovely. These are my primary riding gloves. Go for them. Very protective and comfortable once run in a little
Are they waterproof????
@@sagarparmar1500 no theyre not
@@sagarparmar1500 No. They are perforated leather gloves.
can you tell your luggage set up for touring😊 and all the best for spiti ride I hope you all would be safe no accident like last time 😊ride safe #savesoil🌱
Great riding, impressive video quality. Keep it up boss
Thank you :)
Beautiful riding beautiful video
Thank you.
Bro one opinion i need since you have already modified your Xpulse i also have Xpulse bs4 if we can fit a 19 inch front wheel tube less wider tyre will that be worth
I don't know. I haven't tried it so can't say.
Is Yutvir's xpulse faster than yours coz his is the 4valve version or were you just trying to ride just behind him?
I was riding behind him. My bike is much faster.
@@abhinavbhatt it will be great to upgrade the 4valve to 230cc
It's possible and has been done by people.
How do you deal with punctures on xpulse ?? As it has tubed tyres
If there is a puncture, you change the tube or get it fixed. While touring we carry tubes and tyre levers to change them. But punctures are extremely rare. I didn't have any on my Spiti ride.
Where's the yamaha??
After customising, what's ur xpulse max speed bro..?
Goes to 125. But I run shorter gearing
So unhappy with power of a stoxk xpulse as I traded in my d390 for this bike ..want to ride a twin xpulse 500 cc someday that pushes 60+ bhp with hi compression pistons and all the works.
Anyway, cool video abinav! You bike sounds good.
Thanks. Doubt Hero will ever make a bike like that in my lifetime
Dont you face bufetting on your bike ? How do you manage bufetting at such long rides ? Give some experience of it on your xpluse and your friends interceptor ? Does the small windshields do any good ?
I didn't face any wind buffeting. We weren't that fast anyway. I doubt a small windscreen helps much.
@@abhinavbhatt thank you. I like always u reply so poliety..sir i wish you greater subscriber base and same down to earth nature of keeping youtube subscriber comments tamed like someone would on their personal facebook profile comment section. 💎
Thank you.
Can see Yudhvir applying counterweight during corners rather than leaning in the twisties. Interested to know what technique you use in the tarmac as opposed to let's say off roading.
Yeah, he does. See, now our riding style is a mix of off-roading and road riding that has gotten mixed up. So you'll only see questionable riding from us 🤣
Xpulse isn't really confidence inspiring in twisties, and to lean is a very risky move at least for me on the xpulse
@@abhinavbhatt Haha that is funny as fuck now that I revisit the video. I could only imagine you guys salivating at the prospect of relatively free twisties compared to the breakdown-fest in the last video, so much so the Interceptor amassed a 20km distance :-P
No. Actually, the Interceptor rider got separated and lost. And we were waiting. It was just fucked up. No way is an Interceptor dropping an XPulse in such conditions.
@@abhinavbhatt Haha touche!
Hi bro just want to know how's the headlight brightness enough at night or do you use auxiliary lights on the bike
It isn't adequate for poorly lit highways.
@@abhinavbhatt highways are always poorly lit in India.
May I know top speed 227 xpulse.....?
125ish.
Great video!
You guys are pretty experienced when it comes to xpulses.
A quick question.
For the xpulse 4v, how's the pulling power on an incline, in the higher ranges? When compared to a slightly bigger cc bike like a himalayan or a dominar? How stressed is the xpulse 4v in such a situation?
The power is lower on the xpulse but the power to weight ratio should negate some of the issues with low power too, hence I wanted to find this out from a person who's used to all segments of bikes.
You'll obviously have to work it hard compared to a 400. And it will run a bit stressed of you want to sustain higher speeds. As long as expectations are kept realistic, this bike will be fun at altitude too.
@@abhinavbhatt thanks for replying! ✌🏻
I'll take that to mean that it can hold it.
I get what you're saying about expectations. As long as she can keep going and not die on me, its good.
Thanks again!
Yeah. We were faster on the XPulse than almost everything else we encountered. It can most certainly hold its own. But you gotta work it. Cheers
@@abhinavbhatt gotcha!
Thanks Abhinav. Seems like the sort of bike I can live with. And with cheap maintenance too, if I ever drop it, which I will 😄
Perhaps I'll get an xpulse and see you on the dirt someday, who knows.
Safe travels, and happy trails till then my friend.
Likewise
X pulse 230?? When it is launched
It is a custom build.
@@abhinavbhatt OK. Thanks for the reply
name of those mirrors ? looks dope
Double Take Adventure mirrors
This is so immersive
You never did do the review of those vamos gloves, I remember you saying that you will do a review in one of your videos last year, they look absolutely sick ❤️
I personally own a pair of Vamos goves. Comes with scaphoid protection in palm and knuckle protection.
Things I like:
- Fabric grip in the palm that latches on to the throttle leaving little room for palm sores.
- Eye catching design with goat leather inserts here and there.
- Decent Ventilation, courtesy the perforation in fingers.
- Smartphone operability is decent with patches provided in the tip of both index fingers. It takes a bit of a learning curve but you get quickly used to it. I use an iPhone 12 MINI and can type with gloves without any hassle.
Things that could've been much better:
- The velcro strap is sub-standard and doesn't really latch-on perfectly. This sometimes loosens the glove(s) making the palm fabric grip to fold and as a result pinches the pinky finger area which can turn quite painful if the velcro isn't readjusted.
- Due to leather inserts, maintenance becomes a key aspect here. Application of leather shiner or butter is very essential to prolong the life of the glove.
- Isn't water proof or even resistant so with even a slight prospect of rain, gotta put it inside.
- Wrist protection is non existent since this is not a full gauntlet glove and that maybe an issue during crashes.
@@karthiksridhar4618 thanks for your insights
Hey abhi , how about x pulse 4v with big bore kit , seems good idea
Same thing, almost. The XPulse needs to drop 20-30 kilos and gain 10 bhp. Maybe a 300 cc engine in a similar package. That's a good idea, I feel.
@@abhinavbhatt my freind recent got 4v , and changed to 45 t rear sproket. It feels so relaxed at highway .
by the way i have a question do X ring chain improve power delivery and eficiency
@@abhinavbhatt i hope hero is working on it
But 4V comes stock with a 45 teeth rear sprocket.
@@abhinavbhatt sorry it was 43 T , auto correct mistake , its X ring chain
Man been a while we've not seen your 390 adventure... Where is it?
Hi. I sold it over two years ago
You can pass this on as a movie bike chase scene...with some aggressive commentry😉
what is the average mileage you get after the upgrades
36 on the standard ECU when I am belting it, and 25-30 on the race ECU under similar riding conditions.
Waah, now i understood why i was so behind !! YUDHVIR 😅
What tail tidy yudhvir is using?
I don't know. Will ask him the next time.
@@abhinavbhatt okay
Bro take it easy don't do rash driving specially in hilly area Xpulse breaks are not so perfect you cannot hard break at all . Enjoy your ride enjoy weather valley view

Bro where is your R15 v3.
No update on that bike.
@@abhinavbhatt damn people keep asking about r15 in your every single video
@@haroon4944 And I have the same answer every time.
Yuddhvir on that Xpulse is riding like a Terminator is after him
Hahaha
High, this was dangerous fast :-) I've bought a old Suzuki VX800, but first i've to fix or clean the carburator of the front-cylinder. Kindly Fiete
Be careful using the racing line, not suggested for use all the time. One misjudgement or a blind spot can put you in a bad spot. Enjoy your journey and enjoy your rides on the track. Be safe. Delhi and Haryana vehicles have a bad reputation in the hills.
Can we swap our bike take my 220 plz 😬
It's a good bike. Keep riding, bro
Hey Abhinav! Great video as always! Would love to know your thoughts on the Suzuki v strom 250 sx and also if you could compare it to xpulse it would be great!
Hi. From the online videos, the Suzuki seems like a simple, upright bike. Definitely a better option than the XPulse if the ride is going to be mostly road. If I ever get a chance to ride one properly, I'll try to make a video.
Yeah
nice...
