Have you guys ever considered putting the sink like *on* the door instead of just instead the room? Price could wash dishes over the newly created window that the door turned into, and place plates into the rack at the diagonal. It'd solve the entire door problem.
Is it quicker to put the food on the table first then accepting their order (in this episode since we know what theyll order)? 🤔
@@andylieu9661 yes, but you have to be careful with that, since if a table is occupied before a customer spawns then they're wait outside.

If theres pizza update. Its either gonna be homemade like meat pies or just already made and just needs to be baked like burgers. If it needs to be made like kneading the dough and things like that then it might be hard unless they get to the point where its automated with the smart conveyors that goes automatically to the auto mixer and so on.

Does the sink work thru counters? If you'd moved it over the door i think you couldn't just washed plates from the outside and never gone into the kitchen.
i wish i could play PlateUp! , wild woods , SunnySide and Slime Rancher 2 right now but i know making games takes a long time to make :)

Regarding mats/rugs and messes: the mess is made 1 tile space away (the 8 adjacent spaces) normally, and increases range with Splash Zone. Messes are made around hobs and the tile a customer's chair is in. At around 29:00, with the chairs on the opposite side of the tables, the messes would never be made near where the mat and rug were placed, which is why all of the messes were made on the back side and between the tables. Chair placement is important in planning where messes will be made.

Also, because it's related, Sink (but not all upgraded sinks) splash water puddles on the ground around them, which cleans/prevents messes. Mops also leave puddles which is how they clean and prevent messes, with the mop upgrades causing puddles to either give a speed boost or last longer.

I see people like Ash every day, so it doesn't faze me anymore, but hey there, 99% of the Steam customer base, did you know? _There are discussion forums where developers can and do often post patch notes._ You don't even need to interact with the _scumunity_ (my word for communities best avoided) that frequents most of those forums, you can just look at the patch note thread, which will - unless the dev is a lazy slob whose games should never be looked at - be pinned to make it easy to find.
From what I've heard from some indie developers, Steam can be quite a royal [REDACTED] about the patch notes that do make it to the store page, and that's why a lot of indie devs are not quite eager to bother putting up patch notes there, or only update the front page patch notes once in a long while.
As someone with 1000s of games in their stream library, and looks at patch notes on the regular, this is one of the only games I've run into that routinely patches without using steam's patch note system. It's seemed better in recent patches. But frankly the responsibility of getting this information should not be on the user. The user shouldnt be the one that has to hunt it down. There is a patch notes announcements system in steam, that users are used to using. And if patch notes don't show up there then bring frustrated by that isn't unreasonable. -Ash
