    I've always seen complaints about Blkbrd QA and communications on the Goodyear Welt subreddit, but these are fantastic. Didn't realize they were the real deal over there!

      @@Thunk00 I've had no issues with quality or communication. I spoke with them direct through Instagram vs ordering off the website. Loving this pair.

    I have a pair of their Adelaide oxfords and have my eye on several more. Really nice shoes at an amazing price! These are beautiful, great review!

      I haven't seen their Adelaide but someone just sent me an image of a museum calf wholecut that was 🔥

    I purchased two pairs of Seamless wholecuts from them. Once you break them in, the shoes are absolutely phenomenal.

      Yeah, the seamless whole cuts look great. I've seen a few reviews of those.

    I received my shoes from Blkbrd a few days ago ( same as your video in fact seeing your video convinced me to buy them) in the box was a shoe horn but no polish or brushes. Both shoes were in individual bags though, overall pleased, the right shoe does have a line in the leather near the toe which I take it is a fault in the leather.

    • @mbshoedoc
      @mbshoedoc  4 місяці тому

      Could be the leather unless it's a rub spot from shipping. Most brands don't include polish or brushes. I would send them a message showing the line in the toe though.

    Big fan of the shape of these , to include the raised seam and toe box. They remind me of my Sutor Mantellasi Norwegian Welt Loafers. This leads to my next question, does Blkbrd offer a Norvegese Welt Option?

      I haven't seen it on their site but someone just sent me an image of a museum calf wholecut with Norwegian stitch 👌👍

    Not a huge fan of hatch-grain, but these look really good! Might get me interested in getting a pair...
    Also, I recognize that shoe horn. It is the exact same shoe horn Carmina sells. Interesting.

      Interesting I haven't seen one from carmina. It may be made by Abbeyhorn. I reviewed some of their accessories a while back. No doubt Carmina and BLKBRD are getting them from the same supplier.

      Hi Michael, I opted for the HORACIO, CAP-TOE ADELAIDE, the first pair sent was a little too small so I sent them back and the replacement pair is now in transit. In examining the shoes I was very impressed with the workmanship even with this arguably entry level shoe. @@mbshoedoc

      I did, was very impressed with the construction and quality, hidden sole channel, Goodyear welt and a very nice pattern plus the shoe horn. I don't know how they give so much for so little@@mbshoedoc

      They may have it in a regular Cognac leather. Check their site or reach out to them. I'm sure it's something they could make.

      Hey did Dixon you went with size you wear on sneakers? or you went half size up or down?

    • @ebin2868
      @ebin2868 Місяць тому

      @@muttineni03 My actual size is UK 7.5 and I usually wear UK 8 sneakers. I have wide feet and my instep is also larger than average. I took measurements as mentioned in their website and sent it to them. The initial inquiry was for their Beamer model which is an Oxford formal shoe and they said UK 7.5 will fit me fine with some modifications in the instep area (which means custom made for my size). I never got to buy the Beamer but when asked about Dixon they said UK7.5 is good to go without any custom modification. And sure enough they fit perfectly. If your feet is half size and have normal feet then I think you might be better off with half size down, never order half size up. If you have any doubts just ask them and they'll guide you.
