Ah Leah your an inspiration for me , with your previous solo travels & get out there attitude ! The colours are amazing out there & I can't wait to finish doing my rig up & head out there myself
Thanks for sharing Kings Canyon Walk and the helicopter ride. Something I will never get to do as I would never manage those steps. Keep doing what you can do while you can and enjoy.
@@michelehalsall5600 Michelle, yes it isn't the easiest climb to get to the rim walk. But the creek walk is relatively easy and flat, but still get some great views of the canyon. And then do the helicopter ride 😁
Thank you for sharing your experiences at Kings Canyon. I’ll be definitely be adding this on our bucket list. So look forward to exploring Kings Canyon in the future. I don’t think I could bring myself to do the helicopter ride, too terrifying for me. The walks will do me just fine. Happy travels 😊
Great episode. We can’t wait to get to Kings Canyon and 6km walk looks awesome and we will look into the longer one too. Well done facing your fears with flying. Personally love it but I have spent most of my life around aviation. Leisa is also not super keen on small aircraft.
@@Vantastic_Aus yeah we would look to knock it out in a day. We did the entire Carnarvon Gorge return walk in a day with filming. Think it was about 30km. Wouldn’t recommend it but we did it 😂🤣
@@filthyoffroadadventures that could be ambitious, as it took us over 4 hours to do the 6 km rim walk, might have been able to get it in 3 if we had pushed it but it would have been very tiring. Their time estimates for the walks seem fairly accurate from the two we did, unlike a lot of other walks we have done in well under the time estimates. It is a very rocky walk with climbs and descents.
We loved the Kings Canyon Walk and good on you for being brave with the Helicopter ride.
@@cathbp4089 it is an amazing place and a great experience. Definitely the helicopter ride added to it.
Thanks for that episode. It brought back great memories of doing the walk with our young children then, 35 years ago. Great 👍
@@dougcoleman2779glad we could bring back some memories for you Doug. Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Thank you, I first did this walk with my kids too and my heart was in my mouth most of the walk then and think I used the good old lolly trail too! 😆
Brilliant walks, beautiful scenery. I’ve flown a number of times in a helicopter, love it. Great you did go up. 👏👏👏👏❤️🌺
Thanks Lenore, glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully catch up soon.

Thank you! As you know, I do think you just need to do things when you have the chance! So, you go gal! 😊

@@filthyoffroadadventures you both will love it there. The longer walk is 22 km one way and takes 2 days so need to carry a bit of stuff.
