- Taylor Swift's new album has a lot of Biblical imagery in it. Is she mocking God and Christians, or just using poetry, symbolism, and metaphor like people have done for centuries? What can we learn about this latest "controversy?"

What do Christians think of Judges 19? Specifically with regard to the verses leading toward 28-30?
There's a lot to be said about the later portion of Judges, but the TLDR is that, at that time, Isreal was a rebellious, evil mess, with almost everyone on all sides doing terrible things (Judges 21:25). I believe Mike Winger has a few videos, if you want to lean more.

All those stupid so-called students protesting for rape and pillaging by the typical Islamic suspects. And Planned Parenthood is actually in business to help all rapists from child rapists to any other. No criminal reports, just Rendering Plant machinations to make money off of slaughter. ...Or all the Christians unironically saying how much they love Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah'...even though it is a song that mixes up Biblical references to talk about a sexual relationship... but I never heard an uprour over that.
Tons of secular artists have used biblical references. This just feels like part and parcel of the recent desire to pick apart everything from one particular artist.

Remember when Kanye tried to bogard Taylor Swift at the awards show. He was evil and she was precious. Kanye said slavery was a choice and he was received by conservative as good. Taylor Swift mentions 45 in a negative way now she bad. No longer precious.

Just as much as I was taught by Jesus of Nazareth as quoted in the Gospel. You know, "essential" truth. And it keeps flowing the same direction in the rest of the New Testament. Did Jesus, the Apostles, Paul and the other writers of the New Testament essentialize much? 100% yes. I'm guilty as you charge. Laughably so.

@@AntiMarxism21stCentury You see other people as very 1-dimensional, like badly written fictional characters. Perhaps because you're very shallow and 1-dimensional yourself. But in actual reality, most people aren't as shallow and 1-dimensional as you are, or as you see other people.

It is interesting that the modern Christian is so people like Taylor, yet God is not. I have no doubt He loves her the same as He loves me, and He will prevail as He plans regardless of her actions.

Most fentanyl that is smuggled across the border is done at ports of entry by professional smugglers and runners, many of whom are American citizens.
Fentanyl isn't moved by nobodies. It's moved by organized cartels who are good at what they do. Why would they risk using illegal immigrants sneaking across the border, who are much more likely to be caught, to move their expensive drugs when they already have much more effective ways of doing it?

@@3eyedcyclops I consider what is real and what is not. Democrats are far more evil than Republicans. And I don't see Jesus, or believing in Jesus, as a hate-crime. I'm not a Democrat.
