As a romance author, I’ve always been a sucker for those whirlwind romances, but I’ve learned to appreciate the magic in a slower, steadier build-up. My fiancé and I started as neighbors, then friends, and finally, after much patience and understanding, we grew into a loving couple. This slow development allowed us to truly be ourselves, without the pressure of perfection or the rush of a whirlwind romance.
