So I do expect them to ask for donations, and membership, etc. I don't know how they can continue without contributions. They may be living in paradise, which is obviously where most of us would like to be, but you can either have the money to do so, or 'earn it'... and they are seriously trying to earn it. That's the reason they post the videos. Anyway, not blaming you for your comment you have a point. But if it it bothers you, quit watching. Or watch, and put up with it. I can't tell you how great it has been to experience the last ten years of your sailing adventures during what has been a rough past few months since my mother (in Aruba) had a major stroke and I have been caring for her. Biggest hurdle is not buying and selling, but actually leaving. The hardest thing is to leave family and friends and a wonderful and rewarding job. And once you are going you have to leave the friends you just made. Luckily there is boat work to take you mind of things.

Waking up in the frozen hell of the north and helping the best I can as my entire family is dying . Strange how people's lives can be so different . These glimpses at relaxing and beautiful lives and locations is a good way to escape for a while , and we truly appreciate them . My dream was to fix up a boat like my dad used to own and take off once my duty was done here and I was alone . Oh and it shouldn't have to be said but I am not looking for pity I am doing important work . We are all where we need to be , and if you feel like you aren't - you'd better get up and get moving .
Every time I see Taylor having fun with Sierra, I get this mental image of a very pregnant Taylor. I think she'd make a fantastic mother. Maybe one day. Watching Sierra and Taylor cruising on the paddle board, makes me realise I missed out on having children, because I was 'Too Busy' doing other 'more important' things. Don't leave it too long, Taylor, because your fertility is time limited. From a man with many regrets of the things I should have done, but didn't.

I have watched you all for many years so know you are pretty intelligent when it comes to the lightening. I live in SW Florida(close to 40 yrs) and can attest that lightening can strike sometimes 10 miles out from the storm. If you can see it up close like that, it can surely hit you. Mother nature has her own way of doing things as you well know. Stay safe down there you all.
I'm a big fan of thunder and lightning and have been since I was a child. Even as a three year old, it lit me up like a roman candle. My late mother always said I was a sprite and was supercharged by lightning; the nearer, the better. Even now as a pensioner, it still gives me a big thrill. Not only the lightning flashes - especially close by - but the thunder rolls that follow. It's even better if I'm camping out somewhere wild, surrounded by the elements. Many years ago, when still a young man, I cured a student of her fear of T&L whilst under canvas, surrounded by campers at a Folk Festival in the UK. I taught her to feed off the energy. One of the most intense experiences of my life. Some of the lightning was right overhead; flash followed immediately by loud bang. Several trees were struck and one of the big Marquees, but no injuries. Regrettably, we don't get too many thunderstorms where I live these days, which is a big shame. Dartmoor in Devon and the uplands of Wales are some of the best places, especially during the summer.

Just watched the exploring alternatives episode on your family and boat and I thought it was really great and a super in depth view into your boat / home and life . What really interested me was the emergency supplies/ life raft storage area. Have you guys ever thought about doing shipwreck survival episodes with whole family like what if type stuff . Think of it as practices in case of worse case scenario ( god forbid ). I think it would be great to see you guys go full on Bear Grylls. Like what's it like for a few days on a life raft / deserted island . Starting a fire, finding food etc. You guys are amazing and a constant inspiration . Love yer work. I love it there and it’s so beautiful but the very best part of this video is Sierra! She’s growing up so quickly. Hearing her say: “Wow!” and that smile of hers- I don’t think there is a cuter toddler anywhere.

Absolutely wonderful. It's being able to live vicariously through these videos that sometimes gets me through my day. I'd love to one day be able to have these kinds of incredible experiences for myself. The wakeboarding, the storm, the calm paddle-boarding, Tay playing guitar in the evening. It's all just part of living life to the fullest.

I've been following you for some time now and these calm moments where you are just sitting anywhere and soaking everything in are my favourite. They make me feel like I am there with you for a short moment. The crew is always changing and seeing how far Brian and Karin have come and what Delos has given them is just amazing.
This last moment of calmness, silence and pure nature and the comfort that you give each other while facing this spectacular thunderstorm in the distance is just something else. Thank you for sharing these intimate experiences with us.

I remember a time while in the Navy, that we were in water with just barely a ripple. It was amazing to see so far down into the ocean while still aboard a ship!! Now you know the old saying, the calm before the storm?? OH YEAH!!!!!

This episode reminds me of some of your earlier stuff in the Indian ocean. I thought it was so endearing to see the grown women playing on the beaches like children. Baby Nugs is so next level though.

Hey guys , long time listener first time caller . Just watched the exploring alternatives episode on your family and boat and I thought it was really great and a super in depth view into your boat / home and life . What really interested me was the emergency supplies/ life raft storage area. Have you guys ever thought about doing shipwreck survival episodes with whole family like what if type stuff . Think of it as practices in case of worse case scenario ( god forbid ). I think it would be great to see you guys go full on Bear Grylls. Like what's it like for a few days on a life raft / deserted island . Starting a fire, finding food etc. You guys are amazing and a constant inspiration . Love yer work.
